Now that the snow is all melted, and it's really warm out, I'm walking alot now. I don't know if others like doing this too, but I love walking on the train tracks.
You won't meet any JW's and you're in the woods right in the middle of nature.
I took my shirt off and even got a little sun.
Only hic is that you have to turn around once in a while to see if anything's coming.....

I think so too. But i hate walking next to the tracks in the sand. Then my shoes get full of it.
The train goes so slowly there, maybe 5 MPH. It blows its whistle and horn every intersection too. And the ground rumbles when it approaches, and I turn around and look every minute or so, so there is no danger. I also love throwing the rocks on the tracks as far as I can....
I dont know about train tracks. Being a woman makes that a little risky. But during and right after a gentle rain is when I love to go for a walk in nature. There must be a healthy change of ions in the air that calls to us. The fresh smells and sounds of birds emerging to forage is very appealing and soothing. And of course, it is spring and what better time to get out into nature and remind ourselves how beautiful life is.
