INACTIVE....FOR ALL TO SEE!!!!!!

  Hi Fullofdoubtnow - I would like to write, infact I will write....in time. We just need to keep our heads down for a little while longer. But we will not allow it to continue.

  My husband was just reminding me of a little 'insider' I know who could keep an eye on this for us.

  However, the Insider is not friends with me at the moment. She is a FT pioneer and I caught her and my son 'up to No Good' a couple of weeks ago and gave them both a thorough ear bashing. Not because I'm a prude BUT my son is in love with another girl, which doesn't unfortunately stop having sex with this young lady also, although, she takes advantage of him as well. (They're both in their 20's) It's a long story and more complicated that it appears. I promise you I'm NOT a bad, anti sex mum. I explained that if they were going to have sex, they would have to buy or rent their own property first and would NOT be doing it in my house with me and my other children in the building, NO locks on doors, young siblings about....don't get me started. I'm on a rant already tonight!!!

  Let's say, they were speechless, and I didn't know I could swear so fluently in three languages!!!!

  Any way, my Insider is not much use to me at the moment, so I'll have to get the thumb screws out and interrogate my parents when I see them on Monday.

  Gill, I just stopped by your KH to check out the bulletin announcement board. They took down the list of inactives and put up these instead.

  We learnt last night from my sister that our names are still pinned on a list of INACTIVE PUBLISHERS on the notice board at the back of the KH along with about 15 others!!!!

  Good lord! I've never heard of such a thing.......I'd contact Bethel and tell them that you and your husband were thinking of going back to the meetings, but when you found out that the PO had gone beyond what the WTS had said, and posted your name on a notice board, well, you're thinking that maybe you won't be going back because that's certainly not a very Christian thing to do.

  If Bethel has never had a rule telling the elders to do this, then your PO could be in alot of trouble for "running ahead of the Organization."

  "Listen, Sister FT Pioneer, if you do this for me, I won't say anything to the Elders™ about you boinking my son." That would work.

  I suggest that any action you take will make you visible again, and start the discipline process up. How long have your names been up there, and nothing has been done about it? It's certainly an icky situation, but you shouldn't let them get to you. Keep with the fade, and one day there will be nobody there who remembers your name. And the longer that list gets, the more likely the people reading it are going to think about those leaving, and why.

  In the 50 years I went to meetings in various congregations, I never saw the inactive publishers posted on the information board.

  I went to congregations that wouldn't post who went to what book study or the accounts report on the information board.

  I would get someone to turn his a** into the CO or the branch office.

  'The' - I'm surprised that you feel I'm bitter....shocked, surprised, cross, 'not too happy' all of the above, definitely.

  It's a bit like receiving the 'Dark Mark, actually.

  These are the list of people who are going to die at Armageddon if they don't buck their ideas up!

  It makes me smile in one way, in another it outrages me because, as I said at the beginning, 'Who the Hell do they think they are?'
