I swear, no matter how many weights you lift, or how many arrows or bullets you shoot, its never easy to face your mom.

I just sat across the room from her, with my father on the phone with us, and explained my "new" beliefs and opinions.

Mom was suprisingly calm and reserved, but sadly I'll think that will just culminate to be more of a problem down the road.

Mom and granny went to the meeting, and left the decision to go or not to me. I said I was only going to go to hand the PO my letter, and then I was coming home.

She asked why the letter. I told her I wasn't going to make her sit in another judicial committee on account of me. Its a waste of everyone's time and unneccessary, considering they've already reached their decision, and so have I.

She said she had no desire to sit in on this hearing.

I told her I will meet with the brothers if she won't come. She agreed.

So I'll meet with them sometime after I'm 18 I hope, and then right before they DF me, I'll hand them the letter.

Maybe looking those smug bastards in the eye is what I need for closure.

I'm sure the elders will talk to mom alone after the meeting. I think that will formulate her decisions about what she's going to do with me.
