Welcome MX,
glad to have you. Don't feel bad, people a lot older than you have been duped by the WT. I was one of them. The important thing is you are asking questions. Keep it up. Also, a word of advice, especially if you have family in the Borg (Oh, I meant Org), make sure you have a good support system before leaving. This is a good place to start. You need to have friends and others on the outside. Don't rush into another religion either. Take your time with everything and check it out. I'll be praying for you. Lilly

Welcome MX
I started having those questions at 16 too. Unfortunately I did not have the guts to answer them until I was 36. 20 wasted years.
It is hard to leave and a shame that you were baptised, but you have the right idea about doing it in a year or two, when you are a legal adult. Spend the next year reading stories here to make sure you know the best way to do it. You want to think about having the right answers and approach in order not to loose your family if possible.
Another thing is to start making non JW friends. It makes it a lot easier than leaving cold turkey. If things go really bad for you, you will need to have people that you can rely on to be there for you.
