What's a good excuse to miss a meeting? (page 3)

My cat is having kittens. Only works if you have an unfixed female cat. If the elders then say "I thought Fluffy was a tomcat?" then you're screwed.

I have gas.

I got a run in my last pair of nylons. (I know this new crazy generation X doesn't always wear them but we did)

I don't feel good.

I'm sorry I lost track of time.

I stepped in dog poop on the way out the door.

Stomach ache, headache, various body part ache

nausea

virus

puking or about to puke

my clothes were not dry in time oh darn it

I was being persecuted

My bra strap broke

my unspiritual friend let me sleep in.

those were a few from my era....I know, I'm old.

My kid has a fever and I don't take them anywhere if they're running a fever. Worked everytime.

Everytime I go into the Hall I feel like vomiting.

Tell the the reason you don't go is......... because you're not allowed to smoke there.

That is pretty good Ballistic! Next time my mom asks me when I am visiting if I want to go to meeting with her I will use that line. Love it!

I found out too much about the WATCHTOWER BIBLE and TRACT SOCIETY.

When a telemarketer would call, my friend would say that the person they want to speak to had died.
