I view recipies as more of a suggestion then a rule. If it comes out looking like the picture then I'm happy. It always tastes better when you had your own touch.
Potato salad ~ just make sure the potatoes aren't mushy, bacon, eggs, mayo, a bit of mustard and some green onion.

Try to make sure it cold and has been in the fridge for a bit. Warm potato salad sucks, and I won't like it, and won't come over next time if it's not cold.
