  Freedom allows all opinions and facts to be uncovered. Letting people air everything helps us understand what the issues truly are. Sure some are more unprofessional than others but a person willing to understand what is going on will not worry about the "ad hominem" attack or swearing.

  Based on Farkel's suggestion I came to this board and liked the freedom it offered. I urge you to keep it as is and not lose the freedom you have offered.

  Somehow... I don't think we're in "Kansas" anymore.

  I don't mind you posting your sermons. I don't believe in censorship in fact I'm almost TOO anti-censorship. Post wahtever you want but allow me the same opportunity without telling me to not read if I don't agree. I DON'T agree, but I still like to argue ;)

  You have to realize that we were fooled once by the WT who claimed to speak for God.

  And we are not just going to let you make the same claim without being challaged from time to time.

  Persons often make those claims to get people under mind control.
  They do it ever so slowly.

  Just to let you know this is how I feel.

  Shelby, as a former JW I can tell you that I now take everything I hear in the context of region with a grain of salt. When someone tells me they are speaking for God, or God is speaking through them, I am reminded of the WT organization. They claim God Speaks through them, and when you make similar claims you are sitting in the same boat with them.

  I'm sorry if you contest my opinion of your words, but that is the case - I was fooled by the Watchtower, I won't be fooled by you.

Perhaps I do not have holy spirit, and perhaps I have not been 'sent'. Yet, if I DID have such spirit and if I WERE 'sent'... in truth, would it be ME that speaks?

  I have hid NOTHING from you people, but have shared ALL things and spoken ALL things I have been given to speak. And you now say, "Yes, but if you came in your OWN name... we would receive you." And yet, I have taken NO glory for myself, but have given ALL praise... and ALL glory... to the One who imparts spirit TO ME... and by whose spirit I am directed to speak, my Lord, JAHESHUA MISCHAJAH.

  Whether you hear... or you refrain.

  And today my Father has said to me... through my Lord:

  "With someone LOYAL... I will act with loyalty. So, do NOT leave off from that which I have entrusted to you. Rather, go, and go again, and say to these people... HEAR, you people... but do not get the SENSE of it."

  And thus, I will go... until I am either expelled... or recalled by my Lord.

  I almost hate to jump into this, but I've been skimming through all the stuff that's been going on here, and I think there are two main problems here - one being that there is a tendency for people to get nasty when they really don't need to to make their points, and two, you seem not to listen to the people who are trying to say something to you without being insulting about it.

  I gather you're saying that you are not in control of what you say here, the Lord is, and you are only saying what you are told to say. Am I correct? I wonder then, why your words seem to incite so many people to anger? Somehow I think if the Lord were truly speaking through you, He would know the exact right approach that would reach people through their pain, their mistrust, their suspicions and very justified uncertainties. He would not use language that would inflame them. His words would heal - and apparently, as seems to be evidenced by the tone of many of the threads here that you are involved in, your words are not healing or helping. Therefore, I would submit that by definition, they can only be the words of a mortal and not the inspired words of the Lord.

  Sorry if this offends you, but that's just how I see it.

  how exactly would you know if someone else can hear God? How do you know that God isn't speaking with someone else right this moment? And if God were speaking to another and they maintained it to be so with the same fervor as you but the message was different, whom should I assume is within better earshot of the almighty? You see, so many people claim that God is using them to draw people closer to him! I'd find it very confusing if I tried to believe all of their advice as they all seem to be saying something different! Could it be that God speaks to others as well as to you? Maybe something gets lost in the translation? Seriously, lots of people claim to get their direction from God and lots of different versions of what he's saying! Would it trouble you terribly if I told you that I just had a conversation with God and he told me that you mean well, but I ought not "go there". At least, not with you as my guide.
  Perhaps you will answer my question I've posed twice now and will continue to post until you respond:
  Is there another forum on which you post and perhap under another name. I am not speaking of H20 or this forum. Is there another forum you post on too? If so, won't you please share the discussion board and user name? I have a funny feeling that you might have frequented another website as well?
