I'm just saying, you'd think [at least I would think] that the Lord would know exactly what to say and how to say it in order to BE received by the majority. IMHO
And considering, as you say, that His messengers have never been well received by the majority, you would have to wonder why He continues to send messengers to the majority - you'd think He'd have found a better way by now.

Dearest Silverleaf... may you have peace... and may you permit me to say that your assumption is kind of the 'problem'. Please... I truly mean NO offense, but only to make a point:
The message has NEVER been to all, nor has it ever been RECEIVED by all. It has ALWAYS been to a 'remnant'... and always only ever been RECEIVED by a 'remnant'. That fact is ONE of the reasons why the WTBTS, with its 'boast' of 6 to 12 million people... is a 'scam'. Sure, they hang on to that '8,000 or so anointed' melarkey... but even those do not possess holy spirit. How do I know? Because if they DID... they would 'see' the 'leaven of the Pharisees', 'separate [them]selves,'... and 'quit touching the UNCLEAN thing.'
It is also one of the reasons some people here are having difficulty with me: they want it both ways. When I say, "My message is not FOR you," they get 'offended': Who are YOU, Shelby, someone so BETTER that your message is not for me? And yet, they cry, "WE DON'T WANT THE MESSAGE."
I have said it SO many times... the 'message' is for the Household of God... Israel... that is HERE... and all those here that 'go with' such ones: those that HEAR... or 'wish' to hear. However, because I am to love ALL... and wish peace for ALL... and DO love and wish peace for all... I do not 'discriminate'. I put it out there and any and all who WISH to, can openly 'receive' it. And any who don't... are most certainly welcome to 'refrain'.
But I truly do not understand the "we don't WANT your message; how come your message is not for US" mentality. I also don't understand the taking of offense at what I am permitted to say... as well as my SOURCE for saying it. I have done none here any harm, nor has my Lord. The HARM... was done... by the WTBTS... and 'religion'. Yet, many here wouldn't DREAM of saying to... or about... such ones what has been said about my Father, my Lord... and me.
It is SO 'funny' to me that the VERY people who decry the enslavement and censorship of the WTBTS are themselves THE most 'censoring' people I have EVER come across. Ever! As long as you agree with them... and say what THEY want you to say... and NOT say anything they don't want you to... you are 'cool'. In like Flynn. But... say ANYTHING in opposition to what THEY believe... or wish to believe... and you are:
1. Crazy
2. Demonized
3. Narcissic
4. Bad
5. Wrong
6. Evil
7. Out of line

I have suppressed and/or censored NO ONE's freedom of speech... here or anywhere else... nor have I ever asked for such. To the contrary, I have advocated NO moderation... and asked that things be let stand as they are.
Which brings me to YOUR question, Ozziepost... and peace to you, as well! The title was 'borne' of the quote as to WHY someone came here: it WAS a forum of 'freedom'... of speech. Apparently, however, that has changed... and apparently only with with regard to me and MY 'freedom of speech' (I know, Simon. I meant BEFORE your intervention: the opinion of the 'masses'. Although, I truly cannot see how less than 10 people out of, what 2,700+ members constitutes the 'masses', but... of course, what the heck do I know? Certainly not 'regular' math...).
Hence, perhaps we are no longer in "Kansas", the 'land of the free'... but somewhere in OZ... where NOTHING is what it appears to be. You know... the place where a 'horse' can be of a DIFFERENT 'color'... every few seconds?
Nope, if "Kansas" is where 'freedom of speech' IS... we are most CERTAINLY NOT... in "Kansas"... anymore.

With all those genealogical records having been destroyed during the last destruction of Jerusalem..., if you are somehow, miraculously in possession of preserved family records, I know a LOT of Jews who'd like to get in touch with you, because they would like to know from which tribe they descended... but as of now, they don't.

I still can't get over that you ACTUALLY believed that God Made The Weather JUST for YOU on your flight to Las Vegas, so you could have smooth sailing... and that, according to you, if you fly anywhere else, that God would AGAIN control the atmosphere just for you.

Hey, we have hurricane season upon us... and maybe you West Coasters don't worry too much about it, but us East Coasters are getting antsy, having gone through several major hurricanes in recent years.
Why don't you team up with "The Reverend Roofus Glittertooth", also known as Pat Robertson, and when the next hurricane approaches the East Coast, while Pat is praying to God on land in Virginia Beach for the hurricane to "GO AWAY!"... (and he claims he's done this before), you, at the same time, could be accompanying those National Weather Service aviators in an airplane flying through the hurricane and it would all go calm, lose steam and God would shear it apart?
And you and Pat could save the East Coast.
Now, THAT would be doing a service to humanity.

One thing I have noted over the years is a phenomena that I call MALIGNANT NARCISSISM. I have a roommate who fits this description. Basically, it is someone who has a "game" or strategy that is overly offensive to many people around them for no other reason than, They just don't seem to ever get the point of why others can't stand their "game."
People less narcissistic will usually take constructive criticism and adjust their "game" to be more effective in their communication with others. Those who do not, in spite of repeated hand signals from others, indicate that they are really not that interested in what others think about their conduct or behavior. Instead of adjustment for the sake of growth and community, they always look BACK UPON THEMSELVES narcisstically and display yet another drama making it look like they are "surprised" and "hurt."
Perhaps many of you have not before been exposed to this phenomena. It, from my experience, is very common in the North American fundamentalist sects of our day and age, especially among the more Pentecostal varieties. I know, I used to be a Foursquare pastor (very similar to Assembly of God). Typically its roots are a poor childhood steeped in guilt and fear of losing out on God's favor. The person then strives to obtain the superego of "Christ" by denying themselves, and acting as if they have the mind of Christ. Yet their "mind of Christ" differs from others who realize that having the mind of Christ does not mean acting out their narcissism. In my opinion, people of this sort are rarely helped, as they are nearly impervious to change. Once they realize they have a serious problem, they can be helped by a therapist, preferrably a Christian one who can teach them balance. Until then, not much seems to change. Just my two cents from experience.
