Dallas is a great place to live, but I wouldn't want to visit here.
North Texas is some ugly land. It's flat, few trees mostly scrub oak, and that's about it. Price we pay for this land being the ocean bottom a few million years ago I guess. Now there are some nice places in Texas (the Hill country, Austin, far west Texas). I think that's why we shop so much. The JFK Exhibit is excellent though, if you're into that subject.
South Fork is about 2 miles from our house (23 miles northeast of downtown Dallas) in a tiny town called Parker.
