LOL!!! This is precious! Neil, I already told you that the counsel still stands regardless of what I do. You are trying to shift the burden to me when I am not a baptized JW and have never been. I have clearly explained the counsel given to you by the Watchtower Society, and you have even admitted that it is "solid and firm counsel", even adding that one should "follow the teachings and advice of that faithful slave". This is precisely a test of your sincerity and your willingness to follow the organization that you claim to be following. And it doesn't require me or anyone else to validate this test of your integrity. It will all depend on what you choose to do, what your future behavior will be. Will you repent from your creature worship and fellowship with "apostates" and obey the clear counsel of the Society? Or will you continue to do what you have been doing?
This aptly demonstrates the hypocrisy of 'scholar' in imagining that a person should apply the counsel given by a religion of which they are not a member, and that regardless of who says something, it doesn't change whether or not what is said is true.
However, I'm not sure that it's a good idea to imply that one endorses the information-control tactics enacted by the Watchtower Society. 'scholar' may actually infer that you agree with their measures.
It is indeed commendable that 'scholar' has taken one small step in the direction of freedom by having 'the balls' to make up his own damn mind about with whom he associates. (Revel in that, 'scholar', you won't get many compliments from me.)
His skills for unbiased reading comprehension and logical analysis still need quite a lot of honing though.
