I thought the organization exists today to accomplish the preaching work in an organized manner. And isn't it a command to do so. Pretty evident what they are scared of these days.

I believe there was a somewhat similar case out of Boston some time ago about either a bethelite or CO that was involved in an auto accident that caused either a fatal or serious injury and the WTS was eventually held legally liable because the brother was involved in the ministry.
Someone on this site may remember this court case.

Only a cult would come up with a theme like, "Take a Personal Interest in Others"...Phil 2:4,5."
True Christians would already be taking a personal interest in others.

Which "element" of tattoo wearing people do they not want to be associated with? Doctors, Lawyers, Grannies, Sailors, Motorcycle Riders, Baristas, College Students, IT Professionals, Teachers...
It's become almost so mainstream to have lost meaning except to the person who has the ink. -

How long will an elder or Min. ser. hold his position if he does not go out in service. They better get their butts out there or next visit from the CO
they are demoted to humble publisher.
How often have we been reminded since 1880 that you will be bloodguilty if you do not go out in service.
The society will say and do anything to cover their behind,

field service being a personal matter
Swear! Swear! Swear! Swear! SWEAR!!!!
As if it is! As if you would be let off scott free from field service. Are they STUPID?? You could easily prove that it is a COMPULSARY part of being in the religon.
I despise the leaders of that religon.

Many, many years ago it was appropriate for us to tell people at the doors that we represented the WTB&TS. In fact, when a speaker was introduced at the meeting, they were often introduced as a representative of the WT. Now they really don't want to be named for fear of a lawsuit.
I remember a story many years ago about a witness out in service who hit a dentist as he was crossing the street with his wife and child. Seems like it was about that time that we were told not to mention that we represented the Society when we were in service.
