The personal interest they take is in their bank account and in themselves. They don't care about nothing else. It's all designed to keep the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$. They take in money, not give out money. As always has been mentioned on this forum, follow the money. When in the field service do not knock on the householder's window, especially not with your ring finger. If you scratch or break the glass window of the householder you are liable, not us. Please try to get a donation for the work anyway, give that to us and then pay for the window out of your own pocket. I'm sorry about your window, would you like to read these magazines and give a small donation.

    Public talk

Some elders are taking this privilege lightly, not showing up for talks and leaving the congregation in the lurch.

I always liiked when the speaker did not show up. There were more than a few times that they would just cancel the talk and we could go home early. But even if the talk was not cancelled the change in schedule with the Wt first was refreshing.

***(“[t]he relation which the law calls agency does not depend upon the intent of the parties to create it, nor their belief that they have done so . . . if the agreement results in the factual relation between [the parties] to which are attached the legal consequences of agency, an agency exists although the parties did not call it agency and did not intend the legal consequences of the relation to follow.”)***

This was the most interesting part of J.Green's dissent. Just because the WTS and the JW (Nunes) both claim the JW was acting independently does not prove there was no connection between them. I wonder if this may be the beginning of a trend to hold the WTS responsible for the actions of its followers.

When you were a JW and went in someone else's car, did you make sure they had insurance? I knew of several JW so cheap (they had the money) that they did not carry insurance; and in some cases it was required by law. Several elders were concerned but the PO was not. I just never rode in their vehicle again...and others followed by example.

Thanks for this thread! Now, EVERYTHING is considered a "personal decision". Taking or not taking blood, voting or not voting, going out in field service or not going out in field service and so forth......THE POINT IS: MAKE YOUR OWN DECISION AND SEE WHAT REALLY HAPPENS TO YOU! The Society regularly speaks from both sides of their mouth. This way, in court, they can always show what their stated directive is and pretend that no force was ever insinuated by the Society for a person to take a certain type of action.

WTS is NOT involved when JWs go in service. That is why the WTS must immediately be involved if there is a auto collision... because they are NOT involved. In fact, that is how incredibly NOT involved they are! They are sssssssooooo NOT involved, they get involved first!

    so nice......I love it.

I don't blame them about not wanting the brothers to be mistaken for 'other elements.'

I have heard a rumor that there is a new motorcycle gang, The Kleen Kut Krew. These boys are known for their conservative haircuts, lack of facial hair, and the tassel shoes, which combination quickly identify them as a member of The Krew. They can rip your town to shreds by appearing to be clean cut. Then when they dismount, they roll up their Brooks Brothers suit sleeves to reveal their tatts.

Almost immediately after the tattoo is exposed, they are known to utter such foul mouth language as "Millions now living will never die" and "The end is any day now."

Be careful that you do not let this crew invade your town. All heaven will break loose. Keep your women anc children safe.

Just to recap: WTS is NOT involved when JWs go in service. That is why the WTS must immediately be involved if there is a auto collision... because they are NOT involved. In fact, that is how incredibly NOT involved they are! They are sssssssooooo NOT involved, they get involved first!

    lmao! Very good!

If a publisher is involved in an auto accident resulting in death or serious injury, immediately call the Legal Department. The Organization is not responsible for us going into field service, this is a personal matter. To protect the Society's interest call the Legal Department immediately

Sorry to quote it yet again , but, we are talking about a serious accident resulting in death or injury, what should be our first concern, not our own injury or the feelings of love ones, not the care of some poor so and so that we may have hit (no doubt a "godless worldling")..What did Jesus say about the Good Samaritan? No we must think of protecting the Society's interests! No doubt Legal desk would school you in what to say in your statement , for their benefit..

BTW my old Publisher I D card says that " BluesBrother is engaged in preaching the Gospel of Jehovah's kingdom from house to house in co-operation with the ................Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses"

    Doesn't that mean something?

The WTS no longer issues publisher ID cards for legal reasons. In order to get into jails/prisons to "study" with someone, elders/brothers have to submit some type of official card. The WTS has such a card, but is very careful who they issue them to.

Cano's case with his Bethel ID shows how embarrassing it can be to the WTS.
