auldsoul the reason we will never agree is simple i believe the last days stated in 1914 you dont.we can debate all day long.the fact is only time will tell.personaly im absolutely certain this is the time of the end im am absolutely certian jehovahs wittneses are Gods people.the fact is no matter what period of time you lived in you would never accept the truth that some ablebody men would be the faithful and disscreet slave.because to accept that you need to be humble.and not be a smart a$$

    PMJ2,

we can debate all day long.the fact is only time will tell.

You are wrong 100 percent. We don't need "time." All you need is the Bible, but you prefer to listen instead to the false prophecies of the Watchtower Society. Yes, in time you will see how wrong they were and how wrong you were, but then it may be too late.

Put the Watchtower aside and read the Bible instead. It will give you a clearer view of what the future holds. The Watchtower is just painting for you a delusion.

also called the time of the end

So, you see! You're just repeating again what the Watchtower told you. But nowhere in the Bible will you read that there is another period called "the time of the end." If Jesus was here, he would tell you that the Watchtower is deceiving you. He warned you against false prophets and false teachers like the Watchtower Society, but you wouldn't listen! Frank

Wrong again! I have the Bible and you have the Watchtower's interpretation. It's as simple as that!

    PMJ2,

It's amazing that you can't see the difference! I quoted the Bible to you. See my posts on the preceding page. And all you've done is tell us what the Watchtower teaches! There is a great big difference staring you right in the face, and you still can't see it.

That reminds me of Jesus calling the Pharisees blind guides leading the blind. The Watchtower Society is as blind as the Pharisees, but you prefer to follow them than to listen to Jesus. How sad!

    pmj2,

The disciples of Jesus were told to teach that the Kingdom of the heavens has drawn near. The disciples of Jesus were teaching the truth.

The Watchtower Society says they meant that the future king of the kingdom was in their midst, which would turn the message of the disciples into a lie. The Watchtower Society is lying.

The disciples of Jesus actively taught that Jesus was already ruling in heaven in the First Century. They were teaching the truth.

The Watchtower Society teaches that Jesus did not begin to rule in heaven until 1914, which would turn the message of the First Century disciples into a lie. The Watchtower Society is actively teaching a lie.

The disciples taught that after one believes on the Lord Jesus Christ, they need only repent and convert to be baptized. They were teaching the truth.

The Watchtower Society has a list of requirements for baptism that are NOT based on the Bible, but they claim that the Bible teaches these requirements. They are teaching lies as Bible truth.

the fact is only time will tell.

You will die while waiting for time to tell. Just like the defenders of pre-1914 Bible Student dogma have died waiting for time to tell. Just like defenders of post-1914 dogma have died waiting for time to tell. Just like defenders of the 1925 prophecy have died waiting for time to tell. You will die waiting for time to tell.

I will die, too. But I won't die waiting for something that isn't coming.

    pmj2,

you know for a fact jws use the bible they are diligent bible students

I was a baptized JW for over 20 years. I know for a fact that they are NOT characterized by diligent Bible study. They are characterized by diligent Watchtower Society Publication study, and diligent use of WTS approved proof texts from the Bible.

The ones who do diligent Bible study don't remain JWs.
