No, no, no, no! She'd be assassinated if she were to be elected!

I think she would do very well for the community. The price of crack might go down.

"Why do you think she shouldn't be or couldn't be elected President?"
Because it's the most important job on earth, and she doesn't have the resume to put my child's or your child's future in her hands. Fortunately, I'm sure she is well aware of that fact; she seems a decent person.

Which person would you trust with your children's lives? President Bush?

If she wins, she could give all of her supporters a new Pontiac.

lol, no, but he's been forced upon me (and more importantly, my daughter) by asshole Americans who voted for him for essentially the same reasons they would vote for Oprah, and it sure as hell wasn't his resume or proven capabilities as a leader.
That said, don't get me wrong, I'm not comparing Oprah to George Bush, you are; I like Oprah just fine. I don't think she'd be arrogant enough to take such an important job knowing she didn't even BEGIN to have the qualifications.

Why not... we can't do much worse than the president we have now.
I'm fairly convinced that we desperately need a non-politician for president - soon!
I agree with jstalin. We couldn't do much worse. I am not a big Oprah fan, even though she lives in my town - well, part of the time - but I would definitely vote for her. She might actually get something done.

I bet they might catch Bill in the ovary office too trying to ruin some more dresses.

If Oprah was made president it would just be the ultimate statement in the stupidity of the American voting public, not that they have any credibility left as it is. Americans are not far removed from Filipinos - childishly fascinated with famous movie and tv personalities to the point they give them political power, rather than voting for persons for their real intelligence, principles and political ability. In fact, Americans are even more naive than Filipinos when it comes to voting - Americans vote on the basis of family connections and nepotism, eg, George Senior and now George Junior, Bill Clinton now Hillary. Pathetic.
