First of all.... it was more than one gram. Second of all... it's not about the love; it's the age old adage that men who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. I wonder if he enjoyed the World Series, maybe next year he'll play catcher.

Thanks Lawrence. I did hear about this on the radio this morning but didn't know about the meth part.
Do you think this prostitute is being truthful? I sure hope he has enough proof to sustain the allegations. If it's true, I don't blame him for being indignant!
And what about the wife and kids? I'm sure their high standard of living has been based on her husband's - I'm quite sure very high - income from his position. Now they are not only humiliated but will probably be broke.
This is why I am so turned off from these Evangelical types. Don't trust them and never will. Lining their pockets and all the while scamming their flocks.

WHY is it always the most vocal opponents of "deviant" behaviour are the ones that get caught doing the absolute WORST stuff...?
Like ok, Clinton was caught womanizing... yeah a very crappy thing to do, but pretty much run of the mill "bad behaviour" stuff.
But it takes a STARK RAVING CONSERVATIVE CHRISTIAN to go buy meth and have gay sex with a prostitute.

I remember watching this preacher in the documentary film "Jesus Camp" and thinking, This man is nothing but a salesman who doesn't believe a word of what's coming out of his own mouth. He is the type of self-righteous prig where after meeting him the word "asshole" would suddenly come to mind.
Now it seems he's using Bill Clinton's playbook on how to respond to his scandal.
He said he met with Mr. Jones and bought the drug but didn't use it.
He went to get a massage from a male prostitute but claims he didn't have sex with him.
Oh, yeah. I didn't inhale. I did not have sex with that woman ......
