AK - Jeff shared: -- You have made a deadly mistake, at a very unfortunate place in the stream of time.

I see love from the Faithful slave and it's governing body, while the tone of your letter and the action you have said you will take are full of hatred. That, my friend, is the spirit of the world, not that of my Faithful Friend and God, Jehovah.

I will miss you. It is a crushing loss!

    Love - Dale

PS- Killing people at Armageddon? Matt 24:37-41 Is the way of Jehovah not adjusted right?

Threats, condemnation, arrogance, misapplication of scripture! Aren't we all glad we are no longer part of that 'love'?

Jeff, I am sorry for the since of loss I know this man's response has caused you to feel. It never gets any easier. I have found it is simply easier to pray for their own release from captivity into the Freedom in Christ and leave it in God's hands. Your love for him despite his programmed response will always warm the memory portion of your heart.

So sorry religions exist that create such inhumane feelings in their subjects. It does not do God proud regardless of who they claim to worship.

I wish you could be spared loss, but I'm sure you knew to expect it.

    Killing people at Armageddon?

Well, according to their dogma that is the idea, right? By current estimates, they teach that killing over 6,000,000,000 people is exactly what Jehovah is getting ready to do.

I am sure you didn't challenge whether the way of Jehovah was adjusted right. From your letters you've posted here, it is clear that you are challenging whether the Governing Body is rightly dividing what they claim to be the "way of Jehovah." Since it isn't, and never was, their adjustments of dogma are not corrections, they are just adjustments from one false doctrine to another.

Ah well. I received a very similar email from a fellow who I had considered my best friend for some 15 years, who I had asked to stand as my best man at my wedding. Ultimately, they get to make their own choices, all we can do is try to get them to test the poison they've been gulping down.

    Respectfully,
    AuldSoul

Jeff, One thing is right. A deadly mistake has been made, only not by you. In fact it's been made well over 6 Million times and that mistake is believing that Salvation can come through association with an orginazation. The JW's need to spend more time in the WORD and less time in their own publications that are constantly changing. It's only by reading the Bible that one can get to the real truth. Maybe, something will happen to him that will wake him up to that fact. seek2find

You have made a deadly mistake, at a very unfortunate place in the stream of time.

Why do I have a mental picture of this?

    1) You have made a deadly mistake, at a very unfortunate place in the stream of time.

    2) I see love from the Faithful slave and it's governing body, while the tone of your letter and the action you have said you will take are full of hatred. That, my friend, is the spirit of the world, not that of my Faithful Friend and God, Jehovah.

    3) I will miss you. It is a crushing loss!

    MY take on this:

    1) You have made a deadly mistake for which you are going to DIE SOON at the hand of our very loving God. I no longer have any human feelings except hate for you, and I will now proceed to already view you AS ALREADY dead because my spiritual leaders have instructed that I do so. As you know, I MUST be faithful.....to THEM.

    2) I see that you are now filled with the spirit of the world with this hatred....but I on the other hand....am filled with the ongoing love for you as my friend, and will now be forced by WTS organizational procedures to cut you out of my life. My love only goes out to those who love the WTS. (Did I happen to mention that you have willingly left the organization that boasts of the LOVE it displays to others?)

    3) I will suffer a great and crushing loss until this letter is sent out and then of course, I will get over it in a heartbeat.....I will then see that any mention of your name will only evoke feelings of disgust and condemnation that all who leave the WTS under ANY reasons at ALL. Former JWs deserve any and all of this hatred heaped upon them from all of us arrogant, superior and extremely self-righteous WTS followers.

    (sigh)

    Jeff-

The excerpts from your letter brought to mind letters I received when I DA'ed, and said goodbye to those I believed would be my brothers and sisters for eternity. Now I have new brothers and sisters who are judgement free. My heart goes out to you. peace and blessings.

I dunno, call me cruel. But I'd send him an annual "stream of time" postcard once a year, hopefully from some tropical locale. Tell him you haven't regretted your decision yet. I'm thinking blondie is right, that the society is surreptitiously whipping the congregation in to another end-time frenzy. How long can it last? One year, two?

So send him a post-card every year you are still around. Let's see how long it takes for him to regret HIS choice. Hopefully not on his deathbed.
