Yes, ditto, have definitely heard of it. It's pretty much "out in the open" now. Tancredo was just in the news the other day about this subject. See this article:

    --------------------

BTW, the NA Union will be just one of 10 "Super States" around the globe (yes, as in Globalization divided up into Regions a/k/a The New World Order, etc.):

    [...]
Let us first begin with the New World Order Plan to create 10 Super Nations.

In 1957, Alice Bailey, then the leader of the House of Theosophy, wrote in her collection of writings, "The Externalisation of the Hierarchy", that the world must first be reorganized into Spheres of Influence before it could be organized into a Global government (Page 209). She made it very clear that this reorganization would not follow traditional national boundaries, but would be a completely different organization.

Bailey did not specify how many "Spheres of Influence" would be created, but her plan was fleshed out in 1974, by New World Order authors, Mihajlo Mesarovic and Eduard Pestel, in a book entitled, "Mankind At The Turning Point". They wrote that the world would be reorganized into 10 Super Nation States, listed below.

10 SPHERES OF INFLUENCE -- NATIONAL REORGANIZATION

    1. North America
    2. Western Europe
    3. Japan
    4. Australia, South Africa, and the rest of the market-economy of the developed world.
    5. Eastern Europe, including Russia
    6. Latin America
    7. North Africa and the Middle East
    8. Tropical Africa
    9. South and Southeast Asia
    10. China

Remember, this New World Order Plan was published in 1974. ... The first question is "Why 10 Nation specifically?" The answer lies in a knowledge of the spiritual beliefs of the Occult. They believe that man is to be spiritually "perfected" by undergoing the process of "Illumination" by achieving a long, arduous study of "Hidden Truth". Once a man is totally perfected, he is pictured as standing "upright" next to, but uncontrolled, by his world. This perfected man is thought of as the Number 1, while the world is pictured as a zero (0). Thus, the number 10 forms this picture of perfected man standing apart from his world. The number 10 is a very important symbolic number to the occultist. ("Magic Symbols", Frederick Goodman, Brian Todd Publishing House, London, 1989, p. 46-47).

Therefore, when the occultic leaders of the New World Order devised their plan to reorganize the world into Spheres of Influence, they acted in accordance with their occultic beliefs in deciding to create 10 Super Nation states. They were creating a New World Order, which, by its very structure, screamed to the peoples of the world, "We have created the 'Perfected" world organization, of 10 Super Nations". The symbolism is powerful: they are the "Perfected" men, standing apart, but controlling, the world. Ten had to be the number; Occult Doctrine demanded it.

But, this Plan also fulfills a most important Biblical prophecy. This prophecy was given to the prophet, Daniel, approximately 2,500 years ago, and is the only prophecy which gives a sequence of events which God foretold would flow from this creation of the world into 10 nations. Hang on to your hat, for we are going on an exciting ride.

    ...

Daniel 7:7-8, remembering that Daniel is talking here of the End of the Age. Consider the Scripture:

"After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly ...and it had 10 horns. I considered the horns and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first plucked up by the roots..." These 10 horns are further explained in Daniel 2:41 and Revelation 17:12.

These prophecies are quite clear in predicting that the world in the last days of time, during the Great Tribulation will be reorganized into 10 Super Nation States, or 10 Regions. This is a shocking revelation, since the world has been controlled by individual sovereign nations since the Tower of Babel 5,000 years ago. Today [at the time this article was written quite a few years ago] there are over 170 sovereign nations in the world today. A new governmental structure is being silently erected over these 170+ sovereign nations Before our very eyes, a new government is being erected; this plan, originally published in 1974 in "Mankind At The Turning Point", is being implemented. And when it is finally implemented, it will fulfill this Biblical prophecy of 10 Nations at the End of the Age.

Another similar line-up of Super States, from a different source which I heard on TV back in June 2004, went like so:

    [...]
The Illuminati, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, the Bilderbergers, and the New Agers are all working on a 10-model organization dividing all the world into 10 groupings, like so:

    1. America, Canada, Mexico.
    2. South America
    3. Australia, New Zealand
    4. Western Europe
    5. Eastern Europe
    6. Japan
    7. Central Asia
    8. South Asia
    9. North Africa and the Middle East
    10. The remainder of Africa

Prophetically, these will be the 'ten toes' of the image in Daniel; and the 'ten kings' who give their power to the beast for one hour in Revelation.
    [...]

    -------------------

As for the Constitution, practically every facet of it has already been "outlawed in advance" by various laws and Presidential Executive Orders signed by GW since 9/11/01, which was the whole intent of 9/11, to bring about a "reason" for more and more control and less and less freedom. (They create the "fear factor" so people will gladly hand over their freedoms for "peace and safety," etc.) When the global elite (a/k/a the "central bankers," etc.) are ready to implement their next "staged" disaster, they will enforce this string of Executive Orders instantly and all freedoms under the Constitution will cease in a flash.

    --------------

Two related recent "laws" along these lines: This from attorney Edgar Steele's report of 11/7/06 which he entitled "Stunned and Amazed":

    [...]

A few days ago, President Bush signed away the last vestige of the US Constitution with something called the "Military Commissions Act" (MCA). The MCA allows government officials to designate any American an "enemy combatant" on the flimsiest of excuses.

Though touted as the next logical step in America's Orwellian "War Against Terrorism," let me simply cut to the chase for you. I have read the MCA and a variety of others' analyses of its provisions. Here's how it can be utilized: Simply for disagreeing with our government, we now can be designated enemy combatants and seized without warrants, held indefinitely without charges, tortured, sent to other countries, tried without juries on evidence we are not allowed to see and with witnesses we cannot hear or, even, know about, then sentenced to death. All without our families and friends ever being told what has happened to us.

Furthermore, this can all take place with absolutely no appeal possible to any court. Thus the time-honored protection of habeas corpus (which in Latin literally means "show the body"), whereby anybody in custody used to be able to invoke a court hearing, finally has been overridden.

I wish I were kidding. I wish I were exaggerating. For those who may not know, I am a lawyer, well experienced in statutory interpretation and usage. The foregoing is my legal opinion. And not just mine. More than one judge has expressed much the same opinion, in writing, of the MCA.

The MCA takes care of people like myself. Now for people like you.

Just signed into law: the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act, which allows the Administration to take direct control of any and all National Guard units, over even the objection of state and local officials to whom they report, through the simple expedient of declaring a "public emergency" - again, only the flimsiest of excuses is necessary. The stationing and use of troops within America for controlling Americans also is allowed for the first time. (Openly, that is - Waco proved that America's military has been used by recent Administrations in actions against American citizens.) Thus ends another time-honored protection of citizen rights: the Posse Comitatus Act, which America's founders crafted specifically to prevent the use of America's military troops against her own citizens.

Why is Posse Comitatus important? Consider the difference in the objectives of traditional police officers (not the paramilitary shock troops now fielded by many police departments) and the military: Police officers are supposed to be trained to maintain order and assist civilians, while the military is trained to win, even at the expense of civilian life (collateral damage, in the Orwellian terminology of Donald Rumsfeld). For example, witness the huge loss of civilian life which continues to occur in Iraq at the hands of American military forces.

And the screws tighten ever further on a daily basis. Just announced: Effective January 14, citizens will need clearance from the Department of Homeland Security to leave or enter their own country, regardless of whether we possess valid passports. What is the point of a passport? Why screen citizens going abroad?

Do a search for "Executive Orders," "New World Order," 9/11, "police state," etc. The research and evidence is there for the taking, and has been out there long before I ever discovered it myself a few short years ago.

    Thanks Abbagail!

About 12 yrs ago i read "The Demonic Roots of Globalism" by Gary Kah, an ex UN insider. I learned then about the link between the UN and Alice Bailey's writings. You can still see that this link exists here at http://www.lucistrust.org/

As far as the 10 superpowers are concerned, I totally agree. The EU is there already and I believe the rest will form in the near future. I've heard rumors that they would like to have the NA Union by 2008-2010.

    Abbagail,

I wonder how the JW's will fit into all this. I feel like their denial of Christ, along with their "new light" and shifting language and doctrine, will actually bring the WT$ to acceptence of this New World Order and eventually the Antichrist. Alice Bailey's rhetoric is not too distant from the JW's. She talks of a "coming new age" etc, etc. She also talks about how we can become higher beings, and in other words, grow towards perfection in this new world order.

If anyone hasn't atleast skimmed through Alice Bailey's writings, its well worth it. She wrote these books around the turn of the century. Actually I should say that she penned the books, but a "Master", was actually telling her what to write. She was a medium. Everything she wroted is relative and happening today. Hitler was student of her writings, btw.

    Thanks for the research Abbagail.

I have been following the recent developements leading this country down the road to tyranny. I'm concerned about what has been done to the constitution. I also visit many sites where the New World Order plans are discussed and exposed. If the worst of what the conspiracy theorists comes to be it will be a great tragedy for the human race. I do not think it will happen. Even the the most hardcore theorists admit that to control the entire population of the earth you you have to have them be as fattened cows, happily existing on the meager food and entertainment you provide them, too dumbed up to know better or to fight back. They provide examples of this happening. Or you have to control them with fear and super weapons. They provide examples of this as well.

I believe I have seen these things happen but only to a point. In America we are like fattened cows and we permit abuse of our rights if it doesn't disturb our lifestyle but only to a point.

We can also be convinced to give up some of our rights due to fear or controlled with special weapons but again only to a point.

If the US government began to abuse the powers they have and start dragging away our cow buddies, people would react. I believe this has already begun to happen. Look how many internet sites and books there are on the matter. Look at how many politicians and lawmakers are outspoken on the subject. If the Goverments were bent on controlling mankind to that degree why haven't people like Alex Jones been hauled away and executed. If they ever tried rounding up ordinary citizens and executing them for simply disagreeing with the government civil unrest and war would erupt. The soldiers are American citizens and I don't believe they will actually kill their family and friends. Again the worst case scenario would be foreign troops here so killing us would be less objectionable. If we had one world government, a disarmed population, and foreign troops enforcing the laws maybe this could happen. I don't think it will ever get that far.

Empires rise and fall. World domination is a plan that goes back much further than 1974. It is a large pendelum that swings one way then the other but never quite makes it all the way to complete domination or complete freedom. There is always alittle of both present.

I see a new world developing. A flat world. A world where what is happening in one valley is no longer secret and unkown in another. In this world people are too informed to be dominated to their detriment. Information is the weapon of the masses. The US goverment developed the internet. If it wanted to control the masses it would not want to give them the very tool that kept them out of the dark.

Many of the schemes the conspiracy theorists point out are evil but there is nothing inherently evil about extending national borders to make just one nation, the nation of Earth. There will always be people bent on corruption and people bent on fighting corruption. The pendulum will continue to swing. I think it is healthy to keep an eye on them and to get involved to stop any laws that are too restrictive. I don't think I'll ever need my guns for anything except hunting.

It would never happen. Canadians enjoy not being Americans too much. Anything that would bring us closer then we already are won't fly. For one, we love our multi-coloured (colored for my US friends) currency and the Americans attempt at bringing colour (color for my US friends) to their boring greenbacks was quite pathetic. This isn't even beginning to address the problems that we've had with trade in very recent times such as the Softwood lumber dispute and with beef trade (remember that one mad cow, funny how all went quite right after the news reported that cow came to Canada via the US!). The US also has a problem dealing with certain Canadian leaders, and sure they're getting along right now (Steven Harper is a George Bush wannabe) but how long will that last?

If anything, I'd say that the US is getting farther away with the new passport requirements and so on. It's harder then ever for a Canadian to enter the US and I've had friends refused entry because of their place of birth (they are 100% Canadian citizens, Egyptian born, they applied to live in the US but were refused. They now own a house in Toronto and recently went to visit the US to shop but were denied entry because the Customs Officer thought they'd want to stay in the country.) Things like that would have to change but I doubt that the US with all its new "security measures" in place will budge. Anyone think they're paying too much attention to their Northern border and not enough with their Southern?

There's also the problem with Mexican/US relations. Do you really think the US is going to allow Mexican citizens wonder freely into the US? Of course they're already kind of letting that happen, but they're finding that the people who are heading accross aren't all going home.

I guess the point that I'm getting at is sure we'll have trade agreements with each other ... but other then that we'll always be different countries in all forms, and will never have a relationship similar to the EU. Thank the Flying Spaghetti Monster for that!

    Kwin,

I hope your right. However, I personally think that the powers that be will eventually make this happen. The globalist agenda is not some kind of wild conspiracy theory but a reality of our world today. This North American Union actually fits in to the globalist agenda quite nicely. Some are saying 2010 will be the year of implementation. I guess time will tell.

The Independent Task Force on North America was a project organized by the United States Council on Foreign Relations, the Canadian Council of Chief Executives, and the Mexican Council on Foreign Relations. It was chaired by former Canadian politician John Manley and advocates a North American Union, entailing a greater integration between Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

It was launched in October 2004 and published two documents - Trinational Call for a North American Economic and Security Community by 2010 (March 2005) and its final report Building a North American Community[1] (May 2005).

The final report proposed increased international cooperation between the nations of Canada, the United States, and Mexico, similar in some respects to that of the European Union.

Some Internet sources claim that this report, despite its own language rejecting a political union, would create a North American Union.

    [edit] History

In recent times, the three North American nation-states have been increasing their economic ties, accelerating the process with the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

In response to the demands of increasing globalization and shared concerns from abroad, such as the increasing clout of other economic spheres such as the European Union and China, the leaders of the three nations agreed in 2005 to work more cooperatively on shared North American concerns. To this end, they agreed to establish the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP). [2]

    [edit] Current debate

Robert Pastor, a vice chairman of the CFR task force that produced the report Building a North American Union, has suggested that a hypothetical common currency might be called the "Amero", which would be similar in concept to the Euro, the common currency of the EU. [3]

The third major country, Mexico, uses the peso, which is also a dollar-like currency (although it is currently trading at an exchange rate significantly lower relative to the dollar currencies of both Canada and the USA). (At one time, one silver dollar equaled exactly one peso, which was in turn based on the Spanish dollar.)

The Full Disclosure Network(tm) coverage of the July 2006 National Council of La Raza Convention in Los Angeles offered this video blog debate on the concept of a North American Union. NCLR delegates and Hispanic leaders offered their opinions. Available for viewing 24/7, on demand, at this URL: http://www.fulldisclosure.net/flash/VideoBlogs/VideoBlog32.php as a public service of the Full Disclosure Network(tm)

Opponents of the current government in Canada, such as Jack Layton of the NDP, see the North American Union proposal, referred to as deep integration, as compromising Canadian sovereignty, potentially paving the way for Canada's total annexation by the United States. [4]

On 28 September2006, HCR 487 was introduced to declare that the US Congress should not construct the NAFTA Superhighway or enter into the North American Union.[5]

    [edit] Geography

The North American Union would currently (as of 2006) have a total population of around 436,020,884 citizens. For comparison, the European Union currently (as of 2006) has an estimated population of 457,514,494.

The NAU population would be divided among the three constituent nations as follows:

    North American Population By Country
    CountryPopulation
    USA300,050,259
    Mexico107,449,525
    Canada31,021,100

    [edit] Status

To date, the three governments have taken no official action on the proposal, either to endorse or reject it. Some opponents have, however, alleged that international discussions around economic and security matters, for instance, fit within the context of the proposal and are designed to pave the way for a formal set of negotiations on the union.
