I believe that HOW we get the message out is important too. If we're viewed as extremists, we'll lose the majority of the intended target. That's why I'm not a big fan of candlelight vigils.
Does Anyone Really Believe They Can Knock Out The Watchtower???

It's pathetic! No matter what happens their faith is strengthened, and if the same things happen to other religions it is taken as evidence against them! They can't lose... the only thing that can stop them is themselves, the individual witness has to pull his head out of his butt and start thinking... but they don't since the collective mind thinks for them.
Well, obviously not - since this place would not exist and none of us would be here if that was true.
The truth is in the $$$. Follow the $$$. When that dries up, the WTBTS dies.

I've read that the WT numbers in the U.S. have dropped over the past 10 years. I think the internet is exposing alot of the WTs oddities.

It will have to reinvent itself (and the 1914 BS) to survive long term. It is too big to disappear, but the necessary changes will cause it to fragment and hence I see it depleting significantly, as per the Church of God.
A friend I work for had a grandfather who belonged to a small New Zealand religion that believed they would never die. When the leader died many left but others stuck to it till death. There are a lot of stubborn JWs that will never move on no matter what. But the younger ones - it will be a lot harder convincing many of them to stay over time.

I agree. I am causing discomfort to the elders in my congregation because I am normal and around. I am always hearing back that the elders asked different ones when was the last time they spoke to me. Many of my friends bump into me from time to time and see that I have not changed. I talk to the ones that want to talk about the JWs, and ignore the topic with the ones that don't. I think that causes more Cognitive Dissonance than if I was running around throwing eggs at the hall.
Many I know in their 20s have subtle doubts, and they know I am here when they raise the courage to go the next step. The main thing that holds them is friends, and if they know there is a support group of normal people to catch them when they leave it makes it a lot easier for them to confront their fear.

Not by myself. But if each one of us removes just one brick from the Tower, it will eventually fall.
My thoughts exactly, lots of people doing a little creates massive problems for the WTS DB74
