Oh big deal. So a few people die during a convention. The only real concern is how much of their will was dedicated to furthering the kingdom work. Besides, shouldn't we focus more on how much cleaner the facility was when we left it? Now that's something worthy of announcing and praying about.

I know of two. Although, one died from cancer and was there as a final wish.

One thingthat used to make me sick were the restrooms or as we say in the uk the Shithouse's at the D/C's , well at twickenham the football stadium was a shit hole as well and none of the restrooms had a sink and taps to wash your hands with, all there was , was a plastic bowl full of filthy , stinking, rancid water that hundreds of people had washed their hands in ........

Now people, you must be mistaken... it is IMPOSSIBLE for anyone to die at a convention!
Haven't you heard the clip?? "Jehovah will NOT send his people somewhere where they will be killed".
Obviously they don't die at the conventions!
Outdoors? Pu-lease. I couldn't stand the thought of sitting that long, even in air-conditioning. Just the sitting part drove me nuts!

I attended a District Convention in Houston, Texas (I think in the 1960s). There were some concession stands outside the stadium. Someone tried to rob one of them and 2 Witnesses were shot and I believe killed. I wish I could find out the dates of this convention and newspaper stories relating to it. I remember there was something in the paper about it, but it was so long ago my memory is vague.
