The other point there is how did they all get tested and refined by fire? Nothing dramatic happened to them
Oh, they like to use their experience of several higher ups (including Rutherfraud) getting thrown in the slammer for Sedition. They also like to say that Jehovah allowed this to happen because they weren't stressing "preaching" enough. Ya, whatever.........
Also the myth of the GB of the early Church nobody there claimed a monopoly of authority or revelation as do the FDS. And what happened to that "GB" after 66 AD when the church of Jesusalem got scattered? Who ruled after that?
No one really.....at this point, they'll forget Jesus' promise that he would "be with" his followers always, and switch to the illustration of the wheat and the weeds.....they just gloss over 2,000 of Christianity's history and claim that the weeds were dominant and only the occasional person was a "real Christian" during these times, but it was impossible to tell who was who.
