Most experienced internet users refer to it as "feeding" the trolls. It is the reaction they were hoping for, any reaction, but especially vehement and negative.
sbf is a known troll (but paradoxically also occasionally has something useful or profound to contribute, which is I assume why the mods keep him around.) -

I think trolls enjoy having at laugh at the others on the board. I prefer to laugh with others on this boards since I think there are many thoughtful and funny people here.

Chill everyone! SBF loves us really, he just has a bizarre sense of humour which, since we're no longer brain dead dubs, we should allow and enjoy just as we would hopefull allow and enjoy every other posters' bizarre little ways.
As for the Topic of the thread, Well! Hardly surprising! Many JWs that I knew/know swear at people and are abusive generally. It's no surprise that one would be that way in public!
That she is punished for it....well....high time!!

The key in these situations is that the employer needs to be on the ball to follow all procedures to the letter to reduce or eliminate liability. I'm surprised that Next have made such a foul-up in this case.
As to the truth or otherwise of the allegations - who knows? The stockroom of a high street store can be a busy and volatile place. And having to listen to Morrisey all day - thats got to be worth 120K compensation by itself!

Why does sexual harrassment get so much more than just regular harassment? Both are wrong, but the settlement for both should be closer in value.
very very good point Mary. All bullying wherever it happens should not be tolerated. However its up to each and every one of us to police that.
