Do the things you enjoy doing and if you meet someone then at least you will have that in common.
As to when, only you know but personally I enjoyed being alone for awhile. Get a shower massage.

Prison seems like a good place to meet guys.
We can just oil you up and toss you over the fence! <grin>
Its funny you should say this - I thought about joining the prison service, although not to meet men - I had myself a prisoner Cell Block H fantasy going on! Some very good ideas and I would give a lot of the same advice myself about rebound relationships and taking time to reconstruct. How interesting that shower heads come up so frequently as an alternative to the traditional male femal relationships. I think I'm ready for a new article on Shower Heads - what place do they have in the christian woman's household?
Your single now? Ill pick you up round 8.
Personally, I think Crumpet should wait on Jehovah to find her a suitable mate. One who's spiritually strong, reaching out for greater responsibilities in the christian congregation, has his own cleaning business and will remind you that you must be in submission to him, as you are the weaker sex.
Gee....I can't believe I actually said all that with a straight face. LMAO!!!
Jehovah passed him on to Xena, Mary! LOL! (I did not say that with a straight face!) darth frosty - is that 8 your time or mine?Personally, I think Crumpet should wait on Jehovah to find her a suitable mate. Would you ask a guy out if you found him interesting? I always like lunch dates for first dates...that way I could use the truthful excuse that I need to get back to work.
The grocery store might be a nice place to meet a guy. I'm just guessin' by the number of men that try to start up chit chat with me when I'm grocery shopping. But really,..you can look in his cart and find out a great deal about someone by what they buy.
Good luck...not that you need it, you'll do fine.

lisavega - I love your lunch date option - that is a good idea!
I never get chatted up in the supermarket though ---ocassionally followed around by the security guard, but thats all. Its a shame though because I do find grocery shopping very erotic! lol.
I would and do ask guys out if I like them, but I hardly ever meet any that I like as in fancy...
At the moment- this year's district convention is looking like my top option! lol

And who says prayer doesn't work?
I tend to chat with people pretty much everywhere I go...grocery stores, book stores...I'm chatty like that and I find people interesting. It also makes you appear approachable to someone who might be thinking of chatting to you but are shy themselves.
Shower massages don't replace men, nothing can do that cause they are just so darn yummy, but they will do in a pinch, or two, or three.
So how soon is too soon to get back into the dating scene?
There's no official period of mourning, so get back into it now. You must be ready, or you wouldn't be thinking about it. If only I were a few years younger...
MsMcDucket: Good place to meet guys, at the gym, bookstores like Barnes & Nobles, going to kid's ball games (single fathers try to go to their kid's games, older brothers like to watch their little brothers playing ball or what have you), church, at the park, popular eateries for lunch breaks, stock car races, gun shows, recovery from divorce workshops. . .
That's exactly why I avoided the 'recovery from divorce' workshops. I wasn't ready for a relationship and I didn't want to be surrounded by people who might be looking for relationships. I never thought women might be looking for men at gun shows. I thought that would be our last remaining safe haven. I'll have to make sure I look like a slob when I go to the Toronto Sportsmans show this week.

If he has KY-Gelly in his cart, stay away.
