she was furious that she was asked to sign a document stating that if the Governing Body changed their minds on something this would apply to her.

What is strange is that an outside attorney would have a document like this. Is anyone aware of this?

She was outraged and said "absolutely not".....She then informed me that she viewed the governing body as OK to distribute the news of Paradise among other things, but the policy changes were in her mind the same as "false religion", and won't accept it.

If I can get a copy of this document I will post it. Possibly Monday or Tuesday.

Yes, that is strange, R. But it is very reassuring that you Mom has perhaps seem a glimmer of light on the subject of the WTS policies.

I'll be interested in seeing a copy of that document, too, chere.

    Hugs,

    Frannie

    Yes Frannie,

The Blood change has her hackles up.

She stated to me tonight that if she took fractions, she should then be donating blood....and as we all know they don't allow that.

She compared it to the Catholic Church or any other religion accepting gays. Now this is not my opinion, incase anyone is getting their own hackels up, but my mom's.

So really I don't think she is that far off.

Anyway she has reversed her donation to the society and I think that is what prompted this document sent to her attorney. They got a little taste of her money and are now going to fight for every dime if they can get her to sign off.

Orade, I didn't see your questions until now.

My mom refused to sign. The attorney had the document on hand asking her to sign it, and she is the one that made the comment about false religion.

I think she is getting much smarter in her old age.

Good for your Mom. I can't wait to see the form and the legal babble from WTS. Gosh are they getting greedy or what?

Well that is good news. Good for your mom for putting a stop to being duped.

It would be great to get a copy of that document and see exactly what they wanted her to sign over. Perhaps she was signing over parts of her estate, control over assets, etc...

Many witnesses donate assets as a loan that can re recalled at any time from the Society. Whatever it is, it sounds nefarious.

    Keep on the watch!

Zack, I certainly will!......If I don't get it from my mom I will be asking her to get a copy from the attorney. I have a feeling this is a very new document that few have seen yet!

I promise I will post it here.

That's wonderful your mom saw the conflict of the WT organization saying it's okay to accept blood fractions but an individual can't give it.

I wonder how many more like her are seeing the conflict of sense.

Just a guess... if the context is that she was leaving money to the Society in her will, then probably it was a clause saying that the Governing Body could redirect the contribution to a different legal entity (in case they decide to reshuffle corporations again).
