I've pitched a ring of crosses in my yard, covered all the mirrors in my house, tranquilized my black cat so he won't be hopping across anything or anyone, and I'm sitting in front of my PC now patting this huge rabbit's foot dangling from my neck.
Friday the 13th? bleh... doesn't trouble me at all.
I think I might adopt some of your precautions Inquisitor. However all is going well thus far. I still have all my limbs. I still have a job. I have a lovely joint of meat in the fridge ready to roast and then fuel me over the weekend as I knuckle down to some serious study, with Vardenfell breaks. AND I just got a cuddle from a gorgeous little two year old who made me want to BE two again and with that much energy. I was running up and down the aisles at work chasing him in my high heels.
A slight diversion - LIVE EARTH - huge concert in London on 7 July headlining Madonna, Genesis, Red Hot Chillis etc - tickets are by ballot. Registration to purchase a ticket ends at midnight tonight. Its free to register.

Are you superstitious about anything?
Yes, I hate Thursday the 12th. Whenever that happens, the next day something bad happens.....

Strangely enough this is normally quite a lucky day for me. Hey presto, a cheque arrived for me this morning from my insurance company regarding a flood damge claim; they've overpaid me by £1200 ($2300). I may have to be pay it back but who knows? It's typical for something like this to happen to me today. I may put my Grand National bet on this afternoon.
I'm certainly not triskaidekaphobic, but I am a tad superstitious.

Not superstitious about Friday the 13th....BUT...I do tend to make-up my own superstitions...really stupid little things I am ashamed to repeat. It seems to happen as I follow a stock I own that if I keep looking at it every 30 minutes it goes down but if I leave it be it will go up. So I leave it be unless I want to sell it or buy a stock. Then I put a limit price, buy or sell, and I don't look at the stock until the end of the day. However, I don't always follow that superstition.

I am not superstitious but.....
This morning I stepped in a pile of dog poo on my way to the bathroom, (rotten puppies) the cold water faucet in my shower broke while I was showering and I was scalded by hot water, then the check engine light came on in my car on the way to work. WTF!

PS Full moons are cool and I do think it has some kind of effect on humans.

I embrace walking under ladders, breaking mirrors, encouraging black cats to walk in front of me, spilling salt, opening umbrellas indoors, stepping on cracks in the sidewalk, and enjoying myself on Friday the 13th just like all other days.
BA- Not superstitious.

Well today is our 6 month anniversary - married on Fri Oct 13th because that day worked the best (we're not superstitious) Now I wonder if that freaked out the JW family even more than they already were (they didn't attend because some of them spied on us and stirred up a big mess). Anyway , I kind of consider it lucky in that it's a happy occasion. Oh, hell, the lights are blinking and the ceiling's coming down! aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh.......
