Hey, it feels great, doesn't it? I'm older than I care to admit, but never donated until last year, due to all those crazy religious beliefs! Now I do and love it.
I'll have to work on getting a tatoo next.

Congratulations! I gave blood for the first time on my birthday last year, I'm up to three donations now. I'm thinking of plasma donations; they can be made every two weeks. Whole-blood every three months.
Please don't........There are other ways of finding enough money to go to Dallas. Why sell pieces of your body?
I thought the UK doesn't pay blood donors? You can't sell your blood here; the only reason I'd ever accept a blood transfusion.

Well I have given blood once and that was in 2000 I believe. In 2003 I had blood clots in my leg, and have been on coumadin ever since. This disqualifies me from giving blood, however it doesnt stop me from approaching those bloodmobiles and giving them a good anti-witness about the JW blood issue. The last time I did this, they were all very pleased with me, and since I couldnt donate, they still gave me a Tshirt, I was so proud of myself that day.
My mom used to sell her blood to the blood center in Mississippi back in 1982, in order to help put food on the table. My JW Dad was late with child support and that was the only way she could put food on the table in addition to her job. One time her veins collapsed and they wouldnt take her blood, and she came out of the blood center crying because she knew we wouldnt be able to afford groceries.
I hope everyone here that can, please give blood. I also wish that the WT Society be padlocked and bulldozed to the ground for the suffering that people have endured. -

I just wish I could request my blood donation not be used for blood fractions. JW's will accept blood fractions but don't donate blood. They rely on worldly sinners to donate blood for their fractions...
