Like, if they (the offspring) all died in the flood, what were they doing in the mountainous region when Caleb went to settle in the promised land?
I've thought about that too. The only conclusion that I can make is that not all of them died in the flood, which makes sense if the flood was actually, you know, a regional phenomenon more than a global one.
Otherwise, why tales of giants such as Goliath after the flood? He surely must have been a descendant. Don't you think?

I do think. I do. Now, that poses an even more fascinating question--what of the descendants of the descendants of these angelic antecedants? hmmmmm???? Well, no one can accuse me of being descended from giants LOL! but this fascinates me. There could be "angelic" (alien/interdimensional beings???) coding on our animalistic DNA.....
Could be the amalgamation

please explain what? why it was so fascinating?
Sex between humans and angels. It came the closest to the great pagan myths that we as witnesses had...it was fricken' awesome and colorful and terrifying and gratifying. Remember the pix of the sexy earth girls in the bible stories book bathing as the hotty angels with great bods looked down? You weren't supposed to think it was hot of course, but it was. that is because it spoke to something deep within us...our collective mythos (see joseph campbell and carl jung)

YOU MENTIONED THAT CALEB ENCOUNTERED THEM IN THE PROMISED LAND.

One time I was talking to a christian friend, he's a little out there sometimes, like when he looks up at the sky and points to the jet trails and says it's a grid and "they" are using it to track us. Anyway, he was talking one day about the Nephilim and the demon connection to that today, and he sparked my interest and after doing a search I found this website. Some of you might find it interesting:

For the Nephilim outside of the Flood tradition, see another interesting thread by Leolaia: http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/10/68224/1.ashx

Numbers 13:33 English translation:
"And there we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak, who come of the Nephilim; and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.' "
Hebron; given to Caleb per his request of Joshua when they all finally made it to the promised land. It was kind of on the outskirts, Caleb still had that fiesty pioneering (no, I'm not talking about "time sheets" here) spirit. So, he requests Hebron....a.k.a in Hebrew as Karyat Arba *drum roll* "Land of the 4 giants". The rabbi's say there was a man "Arba" and he had 3 sons. They were descendants of Anakim, the giants.
See also Numbers 13:22 (I highly suggest the rabbinic extrapolation of the Hebrew used therein).
I love the Torah.

Sooooo many JW's are simply fascinated by this Nephilim nonsense!
Angels would have to have the ability to CREATE a human body! The human bodies they created would have to contain DNA!
This makes Angels everybit equal to God as a creator!
The word "materialize" skirts this issue nicely since it does not actually mean anything. The Watchtower loves words that do the work for them without commiting them to an explanation.
No trace of fossil evidence for giant humans exists.
Jehovah runs a very loose ship! He lets Satan wander in and out of heaven and make roll call as an equal in the Book of Job. Jehovahs allows angels to pull off an act of creation in designing and building human bodies with DNA to have sex with human women and doesn't simply STOP it before it happens!!
Human free will is one issue, but, ANGELIC SPIRIT freewill is another. Jehovah lets anybody do anything no matter how destructive and then deals with the mess by a divine act of intervention AFTER the damage is done.
How much sense does it make to step in AFTER the damage?
The story is piffle and only really superstitious and gullible people believe it.
I've told you my experience before of how this very Nephilim story is what suddenly clued me the JW's were wrong, didn't I?

How did they impregnate them? Well obviously they weren't engaging in the self-abusive practice of masturbation, which would have made them sterile! 8/
