    Good evening, Friends!

Well, Juni, I guess that says it all! We're a nosy lot. Certainly, in a loving and caring way.
The missives my mother wrote me when I was away at college, later when pioneering where the greed was neater and, lastly, serving as a celibate at the House of Hurtfulness, seemed a bit trite at the time. I was massively engaged in saving mankind, first in a manner mundane - through the arts - and then latterly by the grace of MOTHER - "she who must be obeyed," bringing docile souls into the "ark of salvation."
Now I am very grateful to Mom for all the love and devotion to her boy. What a difference 4 decades makes!

    Greetings all

I'm so tired today I'm struggling to make myself do anything. Every time I went to sleep last night I had nightmares :-( I suppose that's just the way it is sometimes, maybe I'll sleep better tonight because I'm so tired. I'm just settling for an idle day today.

BumbleBee - yes being at work without interruption is great for getting loads done! The window cleaner wasn't too happy this morning when he found out I'd been at work on Tuesday though, because he'd had to return to do the insides!

I hope your other eye continues to get better - eyesight is one of life's precious gifts that we often take for granted until it's not there.

And how about your brother too?! Woohooo, great news :-)

Well it's lunch time here and the local sandwich shop beckons! Maybe the fresh air and walk will wake me up.

Have a great day. Peace and blessings on you all.

Focusing on the mundane things in life is what has kept me sane this past month.

    Greetings and Salutations All!

A beautiful day ahead here in the California mountains. Thank you for contributing to my wellness of heart and mind, members of JWD. This is a true community of love and support.

Sad emo and the window washer:

Don't you know, I, too, was a window washer but I woulda worked 'round you. Maybe, though, the hapless bloke hadn't the option. Since all window washers ARE JWs, I'm sure that he displayed the utmost in magnanimity and civility over the minor inconvenience! LOL.
I have a book on "Fawlty Towers" - complete dialogue. I get your point on its being too much like home. I had no idea there was so much Brit-wit on the tele. I am Mediterranean but have the soul of an English poet/comedian. What a combo.
    Have a great day.

    BB and the mundane:

I love the mundane, pottering about aimlessly like a dotty old gent. Preparing, I suppose, for the eventual! Thanx for your thought.

hi CoCo - Strangely, our window washer isn't a JW , he's a really lovely, salt-of-the-earth Yorkshireman who's been doing the job for years. He always does a good job because he knows Pubsinger is a window cleaner - nothing worse than having your work judged by a 'rival' eh? not that Pub would say anything anyway - he knows how it is. The weather has been hit and miss the last few days so he's probably a bit behind schedule.

When I went for my lunch earlier, i saw an advertising board for 'Coco beach tanning and nail salon' - you aren't setting up in business over here are you?!

I ripped up all my diaries when i left the dubs - i really regret it now. i had documented all the elders meetings and what they weren't doing about my abuse and how i felt. at the time it was very cleansing to rip it all up and bin it and say that was my life now it isn't. i want them back!

Rats, mice, squeaky -clean glass, overseas tanning salons, Fahrenheit 451...........

    JH and the noxious mice:

Can't we all just get along? Yet, I do understand a place for everything, and everything in its place. Like the place for an alligator lizard is not under my fridge, where now it camps. He awaits flight to my bed, of which twisted conviction I am utmostly certain. Thanx for the episode. Will someone truly build a better mousetrap?

Sad emo and CoCo tanning and nails:

The secret's out - Compound-Complex is not really a reference to a form of sentence structure but a front, in abbreviated form, for toasting bodies in old Sol's warming rays. Cannot make money teaching English!

    Bluebell burns the evidence:

I feel for you. On one hand, purge and cleanse, but on the other - how, now, do I prove my point? I personally have a very hard time tossing anything, but some things will be burnt when I am gone. My orders. But hopefully not my literature of enlightenment!

    Thank you, Friends, for sharing!

Early morning for me today. Hubby sold his truck - it's being picked up tonite, so it's at the garage getting all the necessary certifications for the sale, and the bike is in for it's first service. There is a nice hiking trail not far from his work, so I thought I'd take the dogs before it got too hot and muggy. It was alread about 22C at 6:30 this morning, plus the humidity. I dressed light - that was my first mistake! Second was not bringing bug spray! I was eaten alive by mosquitos!! It's almost a 5k hike, and I usually do it in about 50 min, today it was 40 min, smacking the little blood suckers the whole time! Then it was home, and finding my little mouse, poor thing. Cut the grass, grocery shopping, beer run, early lunch with a friend. Now it's time to prepare for the weekend!! YIPPEE

    Have a good one!!
