Wow CoCo - you were up late last night!!

Well, today we have a bbq/party to go to this afternoon! One of the guys my hubby works with puts two on every year, this weekend and the weekend before Christmas. It's always a wild time!!

You and hubby have a wonderful time with friends at the BBQ. I'm glad Mr. B is getting over the guilt thing. Freedom is relative - if you don't have it in the head, you're still in chains. I'm going to "my" BBQ on Monday and man-o-man, do I ever NOT feel guilty!

Doing nothin' today and quite enjoyin' it!

Started the day with a cuppa cafe this mornin' - only the second time in 3 months. Just ran out and never bothered to renew the supply. I paid with a week's worth of migraines. I really like the brew but figured I was over-indulging. The addiction began in earnest back at Bethel.
Did my laundry in the bathtub, even my rugs. Wasn't Sparkplug's story on the wet laundry a hoot? Gotta get one of those T shirts. Lotta good it'd do me.
Great to unwind and no longer be on the WT's treadmill of relentless and pointless pursuit of nothing. Got over the guilt long ago. Some cute little JW brat said 'Pagans have peace.' So adorable, so wise beyond his years - out of the mouth of babes. Well this "pagan" is enjoying his peace [while it lasts!].

hey coke.....my mum got out of hospital today...she can eat again...I think her stent wasn't put in correct...as long as she can eat I'm happy....I was working this morning....got loads of new contracts recently....good money but tiring....very tiring .....zzzzzzzz....this afternoon was a downer...Glasgow Celtic won the scottish cup....now to you Americans and Canadians...that means nothing ...but over here it is...life and death..you see Celtic are the baddies and Rangers are the goodies...and the baddies won this year....this evening I went fishing and caught a rainbow trout....I put it back to fight another day....home now ...having a guinness or two....the family are watching rocky 23 or 24 ..cant remember what one we are at.....it's the one he is in his wheelchair and using his mouth like Stephen Hawkings to control a robot arm attached to a mop pole....he he ....ninja

ninja - woohoooo!! You made my night .... errr .... morning ... with the news about your mum! I pray that she'll rapidly regain her strength now (those prescription-only high energy drinks should help do the trick if she's on them - they certainly helped my brother when he was ill). I found her pic, she's a lovely lady - she reminded me a lot of my own mum - I think it was her hair and the colour of her top that did it - anyway I had a little cry - good healing tears...

I was a victim of 'Microsoft upgrade Tuesday' again this week - not as bad as last time though - it just corrupted all my anti-virus program and as I had an essay due in Friday, I decided to stay internetless till I got that finished. My AV is now working fully again so I've been catching up on JWD.

Nothing else much to report really, I'm off work for 3 days now but will be revising for exams...

Well, it's just after 1am here and I have a few more topics to read before bed! G'nite and sleep peacefully all :-)

Great news, Ninjanoid, about yer wee mum. Eating is always a very good thing; glad she's improved. And you are so good-hearted, tossing back that Rainbow. I, too, have been "thrown back" to struggle once again, swimming against the current. Haven't we all?

And Emo - will the computer nightmares never cease? I still don't quite follow how a supposedly beneficial update can be corrupted. Enjoy your break; we look forward to hearing from you again soon!

Not much exciting happening here today. Mostly a day of rest and recuperation after the bbq/party last night . Hubby has some things to do on the vehicles, then if the rain holds off we'll take the dogs on a nice hike in the woods.

Hey there!

Spent my leisure in a very tony, local market, where I usually cannot afford to shop, and bought some non-discount groceries. I felt so indulgent!
Learned through the grapevine that there's a very nice laptop for sale - at my neighbor's! It's all updated and will allow me entry at levels denied me by my old, but serviceable PC.
Local KH got blitzed by fliers. All I can say now.

Well, the weather didn't really co-operate for the walk in the woods. Instead we went to the show and watched Shrek the Third. Laughed so hard at some parts!! So, I'll just get up extra early tomorrow and take the dogs out then! If they don't get their exercise they get cranky with each other! lol

CoCo - glad you induldged on this special day!! Fliers eh? I had no idea you were in that line of business! lol
