Sad emo

What a day!

I was raring to go this morning when I arrived at work - but it fell flat after about 2 hours, my get up and go got up and went...

So I plodded through the afternoon - but then after work i went out to tea (dinner!) with a friend to a Greek tapas place, where I discovered some new culinary delights

After that we went to a fair trade event (it's Fairtrade Fortnight at the moment) - where amazingly I managed to do most of my Chrstmas shopping! Nobody is getting anything extravagant this year but they'll get tangible gifts - last year, everyone 'received' chickens, goats and beehives!!

I'm home now and tired out but its almost bedtime anyway. In spite of having achieved little today, I actually seem to have achieved a lot - that's a bit of a conundrum lol!

Sorry I haven't been around for a while. Took a few days off JWD and then a whole week. Now I'm back.

Been a lot of drama happening on the home front lately. Stressful but hopefully moving in a positive direction.

Had a nice long hike with my son up in the hills last weekend. I REALLY love the fall.

Hey everyone - my day was long, it was rainy and dreary so of course my attitude and energy was at the same dreary level as the weather I had a funny patient today, she had alzheimers age 72 and she kept looking at me with a suprized look on her face saying "who are you"? and where am I? When I would tell her she'd say Oh, that's right, how are you today sweetheart? She was so funny she made me laugh the whole visit!

I've been wanting to post on this thread since I started posting.

Just attended my first apostafest in Richmond last week-end and it was woderful and well documented

I got temporary custody of my granddaughter last Friday and it's going pretty smoothly so far.

Today, after 2 months of separation I told my husband that we need to proceed with our divorce. Then I took off my ring when he left. It was very symbolic and cathartic for me.

Seize the day!

Yep, tomorrow can only be better. Today is already getting better. Hubby made supper and did the dishes.

I spent some alone time at the park. It's a beautifull night tonite. Bright full moon, deep indigo sky. The grass is still green and sweet smelling. I stood in the middle of the field, looking at the moon and the sky, listening to the wind in the tree tops, inhaling the crisp clean sweet smelling night air. Closed my eyes and meditated for a bit. When I opened them, there were white clouds surrounding me, with the bright moon and dark sky in the middle. It was like the clouds were embracing me. A slight breeze through my hair. It gave me shivers. Beautiful.
