    Dear Friends,

Good hearing from you. And nothing like a DAILY soaking in the ol' tub. You say sea salt, Emo? I've used epsom salts, which is quite relaxing.

    Hi all

ESTEE - yes a bath definitely is better than a shower!! I prefer some nice smelly Radox bath salts rather than plain sea salt though (and sea salt is expensive here, even though we're surrounded by the stuff lol!). I'm glad you're catching up on your sleep now too :-)

CoCo - Epsom salts? Aren't they also good for... never mind, we won't go there!! I think that's what my Radox salts are based on. Magnesium compounds make your skin feel softer :-)

I've also been missing my baths as my central heating is also for the water, but its been fixed this morning so I'll be having my long hot soak later!

Brinjen - stay safe through the stormy season! Sick kitty is rallying again which makes me wonder whether she managed to hide her meds under her tongue and then spat them out while I wasn't looking the other day. She's sneaky like that!!

Our love and thoughts go out to those who've suffered loss these last couple of days.

An Amen to this, I couldn't add anything

Have a good, peace-filled day everyone.

    Hi again, Emo:

According to my dictionary Epsom is a location in England [?!?!?].

Epsom salts is a bitter, colorless white crystalline salt - hydrated magnesium sulfate with cathartic properties [where you chose not to go?].

So, I guess you're familiar with it, but we here use it as bath salts ... so softly refreshing!

Yes CoCo, Epsom is in England. Here's info about the source of the 'first' Epsom salts http://www.epsom.townpage.co.uk/salts.htm the cathartic properties of Epsom salts could, I suppose be considered equally refreshing!!

Epsom is also famous for horse racing - the Derby takes place there (not to be confused with the Grand National!)

    [Epsom water] "works extraordinarily excellent,
    with various funny results."

Thank you, Emo, for this enlightening information. Think I'll have a bathe and pass on the quaffs ...

Ok, so I just spent the last 2 hours trying to convince myself that today is Thursday...

    I think I'm losing it again :-(

LOL @ Emo - I went all day yesterday thinking it was Thursday. Imagine my surprise when today turned out NOT to be Friday

I was having a pretty good day today until I got a phone call from mommy dearest - but I'm gonna try not to let her get me down, Thursday is almost over, Friday will be here soon and then Saturday I get to see some of my JWD family Can't wait!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!

No wonder you wanted to be a day ahead ex-nj-jw, who can wait patiently when there's a 'fest on the horizon?!

My problem is I just have too much to do and they all need doing like NOW! I end up either with a load of half-done jobs or doing nothing at all because I can't get my head together. I need to make a list and just work through it maybe - oh but what do I do first???!!!!! Aaarrrggghhh, I hate feeling like this!!

(((((((((((((((emo)))))))))))))) I'll have a drink for you too on Saturday - at this rate the hubby will have to pour me into the bed when I get home
