The highlight of this whole event was my aunt and uncle that came with their two boys. They have completed the JW fade and they wanted to come to the party. Not only did they come, they all dressed up too!
Very exciting news, Minu! Seems like a well-deserved bonus for you, reuniting with your aunt and uncle and nephews. I guess we can't guess what others are up to. I suspect that is why jws are not allowed to speak to anyone who leaves the religion. Then ones who left might simply assume that it is "business as usual" with anyone they had known in the past, and never speak to any such one. Thus the shunning could continue, without knowing another has left. This might not be true of your particular case, but this thought came to my mind. Food for thought for anyone to keep speaking, even to ones we think to be jws because let's face it, people are leaving the jws by the droves.
Sunday came down with a stomach sickness...yuck!
Sorry to hear. Pot lucks are always risky, (if that is what it was). Not everyone prepares food safely, unfortunately.

Yaaaaay! This is a great thread to just "be yourself" and know that others care. I feel people here really do care.
Love to all,
