Greetings all
Glad you're having high speed fun now CoCo!!
I'm hard at work doing an essay today. my plans went pear-shaped because all that work on Saturday really tired me out - this morning I didn't wake up until nearly 11 - quite unheard of for me, so that was half a day 'wasted'.
It's bonfire night tonight so my two kitties are now safe indoors. A lot had their 'celebrations' over the weekend but some will have waited till today. Hopefully we can return to peaceful nights again until Christmas.
Have a good day everyone.
Another very good morning to all,
I hope all of you, my friends, have a good day. It's always a pleasure hearing from you.
Any suggestions on writing a biography - what to include and exclude? And how do you access that site? - it may be easy but I haven't figured it out.
Thanks much,
CoCo
Good morning all,
A lovely sunny day here. I'm still very tired - was 5 minutes late opening the shop this morning, but not to worry, we hardly ever have customers hammering the door down at exactly opening time!
CoCo you need to click on 'profile' in the box at the top left, then there's a big box in there where you can write your bio - don't forget to save the changes too!
As for what to write - whatever you want, be as revealing as you wish - I dunno, basics maybe, how long you were 'in' for, when you left, what your current status is... stuff like that. Hope this gives you a start at least :-)
Have a great day

Hi everyone
Had a very quiet day customer-wise today - another friend in retail says they've been quiet too though, probably the calm before the Christmas panic - I certainly hope so!
I'm just relaxing now while I have my tea and then it will be back to the essay!
Note for high-speed CoCo - high speed is particularly useful when someone decides to send you an email with a 16MB attachment
Have a great day all
emo the Temple of Calm!

It's been an interesting couple of days. Wild weather for one! Monday we had sun, rain, thunderstorms, sun, rain, hail. Yesterday it snowed for the first time. I looked up and out the window and there was white snow, swirling in the wind. Beautiful. It didn't stay though.
Emotions have been like the weather. Feelings of happiness and joy, sadness and dispair, all seemingly at the same time.
Friends deciding it's time to move on, but making new ones to take their places.
Wondering what we are going to do for the holidays, and then suddenly an invitation to spend Christmas Eve with new friends comes unexpectedly. An invitation to a surprise Birthday party.
Ups, downs, highs, lows.

Happy hump day everyone!
I've been in a little slump lately. My dad has been sick, dealing with the blood issue. He's doing ok now but still in the hospital. I've had a lot on my mind lately and I hope I'm on my way out of the dumps : (
The weather is starting to stay cold now so I guess I'd better pull out the gloves and coat, I hate being bundled up and you better watch out if a hot flash comes on. I'll knock you over try'n to get out of any extra clothes I have on. My poor hubby, if he makes it though my menopause alive........
Anyway, I'll be going out of town for a national band competition this weekend with my youngest son's high school marching band, keep your fingers crossed for us - we've done well this year and because it's his senior year he would be thrilled for "his band" to win the National High Stepping Marching Band, Grand Champion!!! I would too, but I'll be glad when it's over, mommy is tired and I'd love to take a vacation with just the hubby to a tropical island instead of riding around with a bunch of teeny boppers with access to drums, trumpets, flutes, sax's, etc....... I love them all but I'm ready to move on now!!!
Thanks to BB I now have a new Avatar, finally got rid of that damned purple ribbon for the make believe Linda's battle with pancreatic cancer.

CoCo:
Feel free to write as much or as little as you feel comfy with on your profile. Click on a few other
profiles . . . for ideas. If you have a pc, hover your mouse over a member's name, right click. A little box will appear where you will see Profile (among other topics). Click and read.
Or not.
nj, I know about hot flashes. In Vancouver, with the cold and damp, I bundle up in layers for the winter, putting on a tee shirt, then a sweater, then a suit jacket. Then my coat over top of all. . . Then I have a hot flash . . .
Yesterday the sun came out. What a treat! Most of the day was sunny and warm. I went for
a lo-o-o-ong walk ... Pure bliss! Mr Estee pruned our two fruit trees. Then I made pizza (gluten-free) for dinner. Yum!
Then we sat and read a book together, "Many Lifetimes". . . Sweet.
Better get back to my book report "Hands of Light" for my Reiki Teacher. My Reiki Level III program is
coming fast --- December 15!
Love to all

Hey everyone, this is your local sailor. This morning I got up and went for a run to get ready for boot camp which is less than a month away. Toningt I got to do 20 sets of push up and 20 sit ups. Time is moving so slow. I quit my job so I can concentrate on getting ready for the Navy mentally and physically. I have to learn my Sailor Creed and 11 sentry rules. I'm so excited my job over there will be a military cop or call master at arms.My goal is to become a CSI when I finish. I want to live in Florida or California I plan to be single while I'm in the Navy (not married but just dating) so much fun to catch up on. Thats all the things I'm thinking about. I wish someone else could do my push ups for me.
