Rosalee...they do the same type of thing in the business world (compensation with words instead of money) by promoting an hourly employee into a management position....then making them work more hours for the same or a little more money. They look for people who are content with a job title over proper compensation. Once a manager the same rules for overtime don't apply.
Joe works for $10 per hour for 40 hours a week and gets promoted to "Manager" and now is put on salary for $450 a week, but now works 65 hours a week. In essence he works an additional 25 hours a week for $50, but gets to tel everyone he is a "Manager".
Being a JW is worse, in the sense that you work for FREE all the time. In fact you end up paying them for the "priveledge" of being a JW.
When you perform the proper analysis of what you get out of being a JW vs. what you put in.....its got to be a cringer.
