I always thought I would prefer threads that lasted for days and days over the constantly
new topics started on JWD. I was wrong. I stopped participating in this one days ago,
because it was too much mudslinging. I don't like to chase away defenders of the org.
Can we just kiss and make up? Can we accept that the very title of this thread is
controversial and that it contains opinion-related buzz words which provoke opinion-related
answers?

OK, we haven't had anything resembling a hard-core dub apologist 'round these parts in a long time, so it's understandable that we all come have a look see. (Well, except for "MAD" and he seems to be coming around.)
I agree, Open Mind, with one caveat: I do not consider Rosalee or Brother Mad to be "hard-core" apologists. Insults and sarcasm are the tools of the lightweight.
I consider hard-core apologists those who actually have done their homework and have something well-thought-out to say and then stick around to continue the discussion and answer respectful questions that are posed to them. Come to think of it, no JW apologists fitting that description come to mind. But I stand by the distinction, nonetheless.
Rosalee continues to post here because she's bored with the selection of polyester-clad geeks in her congregation and fantasizes about apostate studs. Alas, Rosalee, it's difficult to have one's cake and eat it too, isn't it?
