One could point out if Catholic Church had nix this the great scism and the reforism might of been avioded. And catholism would be closer to two billion than just one. Add to that the Catholic Church fading fast in educated industrial countries. Also Islam would have might never had happened, it was created in respounce to the divinity of christ. So now because of this holding to an illogical belief christendom lost two billion.
Basicaly because an empeor said this is so, and kill the rest.

The JW's believe that the Trinity is impossible to uphold. That it is incomprehensible to believe.
Yet they believe in that Jehovah has always existed, had no beginning and will have no end.
They teach that life comes from life, that each kind comes from its own kind.
Yet they believe that Jehovah came from nowhere, has always existed.
Is that any less incomprehensible than believing in a Trinity?
1- All power & authority is GIVEN to him,
2- He is the Mediator BETWEEN God & Man (Wouldn't be Mediator if he was God),
3- He is the eternal High Priest,
4- He was sent BY God,
5- He came to to do GOD'S will- NOT his own,
6- After ending Death, he subjects himself to the One who GAVE him all authority (1 Cor 15:24), and
7- SEVERAL TIMES said he had a God (John 20:17,Rev 3:12-13).
Now, does this give a picture of an All-Powerful God/Christ...or one of the most loyal son a father could ask for?

While I don't beleive in either, I think the Trinity,is just as hard to explain and prove as belief in just one god. You can use quantum theory ie: super positions, waves of probability, for proof of the trinity as well as.multi personality disorders I suppose, but in the end your still talking myths.

The trinity dogma requires way too much supposition and reliance on suspension of disbelief. IMO
you wouldn't believe how someone can tear away from reality and contrary facts so as to defend their postion with lies they were told and haven't bothered to look reality in the eye, or at least think for themselves a bit.
You think I haven't engaged a JW...or two? I'm talking about observable, testable, current FACTS. Like the lawsuit settlement or the membership with the UN. Sure, a JW will mumble an explanation, but they quickly fade away.
I recently stumbled an apologist who tried to challenge my claim that there is no dignified exit. He claimed, "If they are unhappy, they are free to leave [the organization]." I asked if there were no consequences, why elders are required to look up inactive ones once a year? Why can't they just let people go in peace? He did not reply. If he tried to challenge my source, we'd have to bring up the secret handbook. Which of course is sort of embarrassing if they are trying to make the society look open and honest.
It never stops one from trying if not just for the practice.
I'm saying, pick battles you can win. Arguments over words never end.

Mad replies: Design thruout the universe proves the existance of God, there is plenty of evidence that proves to many that the Bible was inspired by Him. Try proving why we die, why all mankind have a conscience- a basic instinct as to what is right and what is wrong, try proving how space is endless...try proving which came first- the chicken or the egg. I guess just about EVERYTHING is a myth to you!

there is plenty of evidence that proves to many that the Bible was inspired by Him.
By the term "proves to many" are you referring to those indoctrinated by different christian religious organizations? And who have been brainwashed to beleive doubting the Bible will lead to everlasting punishment of some sort by a angry god who hates unbeleivers. Which will make make them rather subjective instead of objective when examining the so called evidence.
