Thanks for the video Frankie! I went to the Peruvian jungle a couple of years ago and was lucky enough to get to see the Queen of the plants herself. I wouldn't have the guts to drink it though...not now, anyway...maybe in 50 years or so. ;) Before I went, I wanted to read something of the rainforest I would see and I stumbled across an awesome book called The Green Labyrinth by Syliva Fraser. That's where I learned about the ayahuasca ceremony and everything in the video is as I pictured it. Very cool. Here's a link about the book if anyone's interested: http://www.sylviafraser.net/http://www.sylviafraser.net/

    Have you ever been experienced?
Not necessarily stoned, but beautiful. - Hendrix

What are your thoughts on psychedelic drugs? Have you ever tried any and if so, what did you take away from the experience?

Hendrix was awesome in many ways. My high school yearbook quote was "If I don't see you no more in this world, I'll meet you on the next one,..don't be late" Funny on a few levels, at the time and now more so, lol.

As for being experienced, yea, I explored that level of consciousness in my late teens and early 20s. LSD was my drug of choice for a time as it seemed more of a "pure" high (hooch and dope being rather "messy"), it wasn't addictive and because it was cheap, lol. I liked it's ability to take me outside myself, open the "doors of perception" as it were. I always did prefer the fast track. And it was kinda fun, in small doses. I learned where my limits were rather quickly (never liked being totally out of control) I did prefer zoomers to acid though; they were "natural" and I felt safer not putting my trip in the hands of a bad chemist. I was exploring/sampling other beliefs at the time, shamanism and wicca mostly and it enhanced the experience somewhat. I did prefer to be in nature, away from city lights and noise and in trusted company. But I haven't done 'em for about 13 years now, I wanted to live in the natural state of my mind, for the most part. There was that time i found a shroom at the folk festival a couple years ago. Ahh, a beautifully starry night in the park with aurora borealis in full effect, drumming, singing and good vibes all around. I don't endorse or condemn recreational drug use. I can't say it was all bad or good either way. Chemicals were a phase for me.

some people need to take a pill... literally.

what is it with these self-righteous tweedle-dee-dums who believe that psychological change is bad, and that their particular chemical experience of the world is "normal", and that anyone deviating from a similar experience by choice is somehow sinning? not in a religious sense. in a social sense. so ya, religious actually. lol.

GBL, happy trails man! psychedelic drugs, and the things they have given me a short cut to experiencing, are THE most profound and beautiful experiences i have EVER had. :)

    peace,

The man asked a question about everyones opinion...no one moralized or mentioned religion...then you hop on here and do what you accuse others of....seems like you need to look in the mirror dude.

LOL. j"NORMAL"??!! john doe, i think you need to pull your head out of your own a$$.

i did LSD this weekend (gasp!) out in the forest and meditated. as i sat there in the douglas furs and beheld the plants and trees around me swell and pulse to the heart beat of the earth, the large wheels of the cosmos turning behind the clouds, i realized that the relation between myself and everything around me was an illusion of labels. labels like "inside" and "outside". the plants leaned towards me and the trees bowed outwards as i breathed in and out. in and out.

the clouds and mountains became part of much larger fractal systems. of course, they are fractals anyways. lsd helped me understand the larger system that they are part of. part of the same system that i am part of, and all of us are part of. humans: fractals on the tree of life, lit from within by the original light.

computo ergo sum & smiling for real. thank you LSD. you reminded me that being is a way. a path.

Tetra, when I first joined here, you had some posts that were insightful, logical, and showed an intellect that many would envy. Sadly, I can't see one thing in your last post that is not complete and utter bullshit. I hope your life changes to a more positive direction.

hello , i have not posted for a long time on this site, but lsd is one of my most favourite past times,, i had the first one when i was 17 and just been disfellowshipped, lol at a festival on good friday...!!! i had no idea what i was in for, but i tell u it wass the best thing that ever happened to me. i had a great time , saw big charriots in the sky with bells on them , at one point i was dancing in this big field and was moving quite strangly, i felt like a puppet on a string ,and it was like i saw the elders at the top , laughing at me and trying to manuver me, so i cut them off. lots of crying and laughing, but all a positive experience, i wasnt afraid of it , and if it got too strange , i just watched from the side, i always found in 2 years of deep experimentation , that if ppl were freaking out , turn a light on , or change the music, subject , or fight back,, like pink floyd in the stereo speakers kept talking to me, so i ended up having an argument with them and then they left me alone. i wish i could have a video of what i saw in my mind, it was all so great and so pretty. I did lots in 2 years and that was 10 + years ago and i have no lasting effects. i think its all in your mind , and you can talk yourself into anything,, ppl who freak out are pre dispossioned to it anyway,so will likely be set off at some point in their life,, not fun for them i imagin. i never has mushies as i didnt get offered any , and now i think i wont risk it , just incase,, they can be more poisonous than good and i dont know anyone educated enough to give me any,, maybe if i ever go to amsterdamn,, hehe i did have a trip last year at the doors concert , when they did their 21st centuary tour,, when we got there , the concert was just about to start, and we ran in, we had seating tix but thought we would be standing, we ran past the attendant and headed straight to the front, after jumping one row of chairs at the front,we were at the front barrier along with only the ppl who had front row seating,, we stayed there the whole concert, no one even noticed , we were soooo stoked to be there.. and it was great, i was making contact with this indian guy on the stage,,, i think he was on bass, and i felt like i was a red indian in the desert,, very psychedelic experience,, then when we left, it was abit freaky, it looked like gotham city and i thought anyone who looked at me could see in my mind. so we got outof there. i recomend having a bag with you with some of your favorite things , so if you feel too spaced out , you can look through your bag, its amazing how interesting everything is to look at while you are off it ,especially if its sentimental or someone gave it too you.

i have tried philosiphers stone and had a great time on that more recently ,, its a mild trip but u definately feel it , see stars and great colours and generally just understand everything as completely logical , no matter what the subject. they arer truffels and have that pyclobilin in them like sum mushies but apparently dont screw your head up, you dont tend to do stupid stuff, just think clearer or in that other dimension.. once i had some and the next day, still feeling the effects, saw an elder ,i personally think is into black magic, and his eyes were glowing green and blue. he was grinning at me,and saying he has put me on his hit list ,and then laughed with another couple of witnesses he was with. i came across as normal, im pretty sure, but he was far from it, i never hearrd from him after, and frankly it just confirmed to me even more how freaky and full of shyte they are.

anyway, sorry long post , i got so excited reminising, make sure you have some ppl with you not tripping but with like mindedness.. drunk ppl look really gross when you are tripping , keeping an eye on you or at least put yourself somewhere not near traffic, lots of ppls , cliffs ect, have a bag of your favorite things, some lollies, a pipe and sum green , sum tunes and whatever else u fancy and a deck of cards is always fun, u can do almost anything when u have a deck of cards, and have a ball , it can be the most refreshing time in your life, better than a holiday , you cant buy a ticket to the places you can visit on acid. oxoxoxoxox peace!!!!
