I propose that a world without death and fighting would be a world none of you would want to live in.

It's rather ironic, that earlier, you said that I was "out of touch with reality."

As mankind increases in civilisation things improve but are still far from perfect. . . . The argument has been made quite effectively in more places that one that "civilization" is a regression from being ideal, not progression.

So, which of these two points are you trying to make? They don't appear to be consistent with each other.

The first statement that you said contradicted was not mine. The second one was, and yes, it did contradict the statement I did not make. Without death, there cannot be birth. With no new life, things stagnate. I don't see how this is out of touch with reality. Do you think any of these statements are in error?

I had never heard of dog fighting here in the USA until a tv show like Law and Order did an episode on it. Rooster fighting is still legal in some areas of this country. Back in the 1990's in Eastern Kentucky there used to be big arenas where they had rooster fights.

Juni, what part of what I said makes you sick? Do you usually enter discussions this way without bringing in any points?

When someone says that, they usually mean they have nothing to add to the discussion. It's a bit like when a jw shuts down their reasoning because they're afraid to think.

Well guys, I'm going to let this thread go. It's declined into folks name calling, but I was trying to get folks to rationalize their viewpoints. Evidently, the time for that has passed. For the record, I do not and I will not go to a dog fighting event, but the self agrandising views of some people against it really puzzles me, especially when looking at human nature. Good night, and hopefully you'll find someone or something else to hate tomorrow.

I see that now, but in the future, try using quotation marks or the quote feature of the site when you are quoting others.

I don't see how this is out of touch with reality.

Then that speaks volumes about your own perception of reality. You said, "I propose that a world without death and fighting would be a world none of you would want to live in." I doubt many here would not want to live in a world without death or fighting. Do you really believe that "none" of the users of this forum would like to live in a world where death and fighting did not exist?

Well guys, I'm going to let this thread go. It's declined into folks name calling, but I was trying to get folks to rationalize their viewpoints.

You must really believe that others on this forum are fools and incapable of seeing your real objective, which was to stir up the pot. If you didn't realize that your expression of support for the cruel and inhumane practice of dog fighting would offend others, then you're an absolute moron. I don't think that's the case; I think you knew the result your comments would produce and made them with the intention of producing this result.

For the record, I do not and I will not go to a dog fighting event, but the self agrandising views of some people against it really puzzles me, especially when looking at human nature.

"Self agrandising?" Wow, the big words would be impressive, if they were spelled correctly and used in a manner that made sense. You're not puzzled, you're happy, as you elicited the sort of reaction that you desired.

Good night, and hopefully you'll find someone or something else to hate tomorrow.

Good night, John. Thanks for the laughs.
