I usually wear a little make-up when I go to work. I've got (shock horror) a few little spider veins and age spots on my cheeks that look so much better evened out! I also recently started using mineral make-up. Brinjen, what brand did you get? I got a few of "youngblood's" range. www.youngblood.com it's really nice. my local salon does a free 5 minute youngblood makeover....... a bit on my nose and then lightly run the big brush over my face and that's that done, a blend of blush, a bit of eye pencil, mascara and lip gloss.....so quick and natural, but my face looks much more alive!!

On the other hand I don't wear any make-up when I'm just around the house or on weekends even to go shopping. But there are times when I wear a lot more than normal........like stage make up! It all depends on the circumstances.

Cool Brinjen! It's always nice to find what works for you.

Deeskis, I'm going to go to the youngblood.com site and take a look. Now I want to get me some of the mineral foundation. And since two of you recommended liquid Dove/Ivory I'll try that.

Another good product for a gentle wash for your face is Cetaphil cleansing bar.

    Thanks gals for the tips...

I freakin love makeup, especially Mac, my favorite. I can never wear too much makeup, doesn't look right on me, but I love lip gloss, mascara, and I experiment everyday with eye shadow! I like to feel sexy, I am in sales, so its important for me to feel good as much as possible, confidence and a happy face sell!

Crumpet asked: So what about make up removal - anyone got any special products, particular for the eyes that dont involve me going blind or blurry visioned for hours?

You know which one I like the best? Avon's eye make-up remover. It's a cream, not an oil.....best of all, it's only $2.00.
