I really wouldn't be suprised if the locked the KH, only allowing "approved" brothers, and of course, "approved worldly" people, in.

    NO INACTIVES!

    NO IRREGULARS!

I remember an elder use to say this as well. It was his position that if JWs said they were sure to get into paradise then they would be the same as the born agains, once saved, always saved. He use to say "only with Jah's loving kindness and mercy, will even JWs make it". And then they wonder why people are leaving in herds (pun intended).

Oh really. We were taught, most of the time, anyway, that we were saved because of our works. 10 hours a month for Paradise.

    Nice pun by the way!

Now it would break my mothers heart to know that after, studying and underlining every book, giving them away in service each week and raising her hand and practically answering up for every question ever asked (she's even known for raising her hand for rhetorical ones!) that she is not guaranteed a shoe in pole position for the JW paradise!

I say "pole position" because according to their dogma, they still have another set of testing to go through at the end of 1000 years of paradisaical cleansing! It's like community college for Pete's sake!

AlanF said: When challenged with the nasty accusation that JWs teach that only JWs will be "saved", they teach JWs to tell the public that JWs don't judge anyone and that only God will judge, implying that the accusation is false; yet internally they teach something even worse than their accusers accuse them of.

And to demonstrate that, here's a few memorable quotes from their own mouth:

    ***

km 12/89 p. 8 Presenting the Good News—To Youths *** Jehovah "does not desire any to be destroyed." (2 Pet. 3:9) This includes youths. However, many young people will not survive Armageddon.

    ***

Reasoning From the Scripturesp. 47 &48 Armageddon*** What will happen to young children at Armageddon? The Bible does not directly answer that question, and we are not the judges but that never stopped us before) However, the Bible does show that God views the young children of true Christians as "holy." (1 Cor. 7:14) It also reveals that in times past when God destroyed the wicked he likewise destroyed their little ones. (Num. 16:27, 32; Ezek. 9:6) God does not want anyone to be destroyed, so he is having a warning sounded now to benefit both parents and children. Would it not be wise for parents to pursue a course that would result in their children being looked on with favor by God both now and at Armageddon

    ***

w 92 10/15 p. 15 Work to Preserve Your Family Into God’s New World*** It appears that some parents are content to allow their children to drift along. The children attend meetings and have some share in field service, but often they have not built up their own relationship with God. In time "the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes" could lead many of such youths away from the truth. (1 John 2:16) How sad it would be for parents to survive Armageddon but because of past neglect leave their children behind as casualties!

    ***

w 82 4/1 pp. 30-31 Survival or Destruction at the"Great Tribulation"*** Any who hope to be "concealed in the day of Jehovah’s anger" must "seek righteousness, seek meekness" and ‘practice Jehovah’s own judicial decision,’ rather than criticize it. (Zephaniah 2:2, 3) Any who hope to be considered by God’s Judge as "sheep" to be spared must prove themselves to be "righteous ones," actively aiding Christ’s anointed "brothers," who form the "faithful and discreet slave" class. (Matthew 25:33, 40, 46; 24:45-47) The only ones to whom the Bible extends hope of surviving the "great tribulation" are Christ’s "brothers," or "chosen ones," and the "great crowd" of "sheep" who ‘render God sacred service’ without letup

Yep, they don't judge anyone do they.

The annointed haven't been doing so hot either, if you analyze the memorial partakers for the last 40-50 years.

One of the more heartbreaking moments I've had to witness is watching my JW husband hesitate in prayer. He is not sure if he is acceptable or not. Doubly so when the elders questioned his chances of surviving Armageddon, considering his involvement with me.

What MAN has the right to separate people from supernatural love and support? <--------a very rare gnat-emote-i-con
