SF; skallywagger; is one of a hand full of people on this board ,that sees jw's for what they are. an is willing to PISS ON THEIR PARADE... MINIMUS your way over your head, even questioning SKALLY. Regardless of our aforementioned differences of opinion and how we choose to act upon conclusions drawn, I must say that I am developing a backbone from the example of persons such as sKally and jc. Just because my personality is different from theirs doesn't prevent my learning from them and admiring their courage.

I never told anyone when I was researching the watchtower, or that I was thinking
of leaving. They caught on when I didn't show up at the hall for a few months, and
I did tell a few that I wasn't going back when they asked, but only ones I knew I
could trust. All of them are out now as well.

Not everyone handles things in the same way. For the Johnny Cips of the world, all I can say is if what you've done has worked for you-----great! But don't be simple minded and think that everyone is in the same position.

I would recommend giving serious thought to anyone contemplating telling a fellow JW what you might be thinking. A person MIGHT not be ready for the backlash. If they feel that they just want to tell the world what they think, that's up to them too. My recommendation is to simply think before you ask questions to certain JWs. I think it's pretty balanced.
