Our beaches here are lovely too. I've done a lot of fishing off of that pier over the years.

There aren't many real Floridians in Florida.
Nice bouquet, by the way. The orchid above is very rare, they found one a couple of years ago and it made the news. A couple of guys looking for hooters found it high up in a tree. It is a pretty deep flower, only one particular local moth is "hung enough" to pollinate it.

I have seen it before. It's very different and spectacular.
I just love flowers. Love taking pictures of them. I've got far too many actually. Digital is so cool, you never have to worry about too many.

I was born in West Palm Beach, my sis lives at Neptune Beach outside Jacksonville. Anyway, when I was thnking of moving there, she said, Do you know how rare you will be here, a real native Floridian.
Those pics are beautiful BTS, wish I was back down there, although Neptune Beach is nothing near the beauty, well hardly, the beauty where you are.

Check SW Florida sometime Purps. Especially Collier County. We are way down at the bottom of the state on the Gulf side. Very low crime, good schools, beautiful, more than half the county is protected lands. Great beaches, if you have a boat you have access to islands where you can enjoy privacy (sex on the beach is not just a drink.) Of course, summer is hell. The heat, humidity and bugs are terrible, especially where I live, on the edge. As for your Arkansas, I would love to see the Ozarks, they look beautiful in pictures. Florida is flat as a soggy pancake.

Bike Trail in Little Rock, along the Arkansas River with Pinnacle Mountain in the background.
Great, great trail to bike!
