what happens when we die... it's what all religions base their power on. swaying people with fear or hope so that they follow their doctrines.
I agree, Candidly....I'm not sure, but I'm leaning towards there being an after-life...somewhere in the bible it says that when a man dies, his soul returns to God, or something to that effect, does it not? Where does God put that soul? In a filing cabinet? In a closet? I believe the soul lives on...the fleshly body may be dead, but the life force, the spirit is still alive .....
Whatever the case may be, I'm living life to it's fullest, and not worrying anymore about death....it's coming eventually.

There are too many sane people here who have seen ghosts (spirits) to dismiss the idea that lifes energy continues in a conscious form.

Nobody knows, but a lot of money has been made by those that sell answers to the mystery question. I saw a movie called White Noise about catching the energy of those who had passed over to the other side. It created about as many questions as it tried to answer.
I believe that consciousness continues, but I guess we will have to wait to find out. Or not.
