I dont know why you are apologising, but I doubt you need to.

You are well liked and popular here, so how is it that you don't feel like you fit in?

    Stop feeling sorry.

It's a waste of emotional energy, since you didn't do anything to be sorry for.

If you leave this board MANY people will miss you.

Open your eyes and see how many here care about you and like you.

You fit in fine here...who's not a misfit here?

Seems like Internet communication is driving emotional ambiguity to new highs/depths.

When you do get to cry over everything, be prepared to laugh at it the next minute...

    nvr: I'm sorry.

    We've all been through alot.

I dont post much anymore, just check in occasionally but, you have been posting for 5months with four thousand fivehundred posts. How much time do you put into this forum? If you've come to a point were making apologies, maybe you need to so something else with your time?

(((Nvr))) Of course you fit in. Lemme try explain.

Here in the Yorkshire countryside, fields are seperated by drystone walls. Now drystone walling is an art, you see the stones used are basically whatever you can lay your hands on - all different shapes and sizes, rough, smooth... A champion drystone waller can build a wall which has almost perfectly flat edges and will stay standing under severe weather conditions and not get flattened by stampeding livestock - and he doesn't use any mortar to hold it all together (hence 'drystone')! Over time, the stones move and settle into each other and the structure becomes stronger rather than weaker - but each stone is still it's own shape and size.

What's my point in this - well the stones are all different, but when they come together they produce something strong without any external force to hold them together. That's what JWD is like - a whole bunch of individual 'misfits' but when we come together, it works. Sure we might meet an occasional 'rough edge' which causes us discomfort - but we might be the one to turn that rough edge into a smoother one (bring some healing?).

I guess from the descriptions here that being a JW was more like being part of a brick wall - everyone exactly the same shape, size and colour and forcibly held in place by mortar - no room to breathe, move or settle into place once held by the rigid mortar. Brick walls aren't as strong though - one heavy shove and the whole lot goes over!

I don't know what caused you to start this thread but I think you're great, you've kept me smiling through my pain and you're also one of the finest examples of atheistic tolerance I've ever encountered here too! Please come back <-- looks at Nvr with big sad eyes
