What's your name and address Frankie? I'm sure the IRS would love to explain the law to you.

Why is it that when some men take of their shirts and tense their muscles they become so very, very, awfully nasty. HS

Frankie, you are legally required to pay taxes. I have heard lawyers and accountants speak to this particular issue and the subject of the no-tax pmt. required proponents. My late father in law played at that. You may get away with it for a little longer, but you have no legal leg to stand on. If you believe taxes are wrong, then fight for what you think your rights are-through the legal/legislative system and have the courage of your convictions, or leave the country. I wish my late FIL would have had the courage to stand up for his convictions rather than leaving the mess behind for us to deal with. I guess you could hope to die in a couple of years-before they catch up, but it seems a better idea to live for a long time and make a change if you think it is necessary.

Hillary-step, do you think that using resources while refusing to pay for any of them is not nasty? Do you think that whining about something instead of working in a legitimate way to change it is honorable?

Frankie, I have a very low tolerance for selfish hypocrites. And yes, I'd gladly turn your ass in.

I'm sure IRS already knows who I am, after I haven't paid my taxes and they keep sending me letters. So they don't need the help of some informent.

...another poster who takes themselves so seriously they cannot identify when a person does not take them seriously at all. I was teasing you. Put your shirt on John, you are frightening the poodles. HS

dear john consider taking some of the sensitivity you expressed on your "dark" thread and use it to erase the nastiness you've shown on this one.

My experience of the taxman is this : If you treat them fairly they will bend every direction to help when you have issues. You play foul with them and they will nail you to the nearest gatepost without mercy.

Tax lawyers exist in the thousands for a reason. My advice? Pay your taxes and whine about it like the rest of us. Whining about taxes is a lot of fun and something we all have in common, excepting John Doe of course who pays twenty per-cent more than demanded just to prove his loyalty to the flag.
