It is always nice to know that you are not alone, especially when you are questioning what you have been trained not to. I think you will find the internet to be a fantastic source, and there are some great books out there as well.

You hit the nail on the head with that statement. That was one of the big issues I had from the time I was 12 or so. I had no idea about what really went on behind the scenes then, but knew that what I was reading in the bible an what they were claiming it said or meant did not add up to me.

Welcome Orgull, you will find here that most people can readily identify with your position since they have been through the same process of leaving behind a cultic organisation.
The JWs are certainly having a very morbid and shallow relationship with God that is based on fear and not as it should on love. Serving God should be naturally motivated from the heart and not goaded on by fear.

I found this forum and was STUNNED to discover that I'm not alone. I can't believe how many people here feel the same way I do about so many things!
It truly is amazing to find so many that can really understand what you are going through, what you went through and what you will go through as you leave the JW's. It helps in your exit and recovery to have such support!
