are talking down about JWD? Does it even matter, or does it become a verbal war between 2 sites?
What happens with things like this? I wouldn't mind joining that one too, but I don't want to have anyone associate me with those that might be putting this site down.

I love this site and haven't even looked at the other one. I feel like I'm just getting to know the posters here and I feel no need to go anywhere else since I don't have time to read everything here that I'd like to.

Sometimes its like that. I have joined 4 different Ex-JW sites and fortunately I don't get yelled at for being at any of them. But sometimes people get jealous or for whatever reason feel the need to bring each Ex-JW site down. I personally don't think that it should be that way, we all have this in common, why not try to help people make their sites better? And why not get along?
Do they really put down JWD or is that a hypothetical scenario? If they do one can put arguments against it one doesn't have to go along with their trend. But there is enough activity going on here why go somewhere else?

Posting on other forums, I am sure, is fine with most of us. I have posted on other forums but don't have time for multiple forums right now. I might have tried the other one, but I did not like the attitude of the person they chose to do their PR.

People want to start their own club and build a clubhouse for the same reasons they left in 4th grade.
There have been board wars before. This board has survived those and will easily survive this one.
What Collegegirl said is right - we should all just get along. However the owner of that other forum won't just get along, he or she had to come in here and kick up a dust storm.
Based on what I've seen before, as long as posters who join there don't bring crap in here, they won't have a problem continuing here.
There's plenty of room on the Internet for several discussion boards. I just don't like the fact that the other forum owner (whose forum I won't name, he's already gotten plenty of publicity) got attention and probably some new members after what he or she pulled here.
