  I was one of 14 elders we had at our hall. We spent a sizable amount of time on strong arming weaker elders into doing all the work. I miss the good old days.

  A new elder once came to an elders meeting prepared to discuss an issue from the few scriptures he had prepared.

  He was told to put his research away because they based everything on the elders manual. "We don't need no stinking bible."

  I have copies of the minutes of many "elders meetings".They sit around like a grou of school girls,gossiping about folks in the congo and then they fight amoungst one another as well.Quite entertaining to read....lol
