    Ill.

    Confused.

    Bewildered.

    Sleepless.

    Guilty.

    Nauseous.

    Numb.

    Hollow.

    Cold.

That's the effect the UN scandal had on me.

Nope. My father says that's a lie. He would know, he reads the Watchtower. LMFAO!

I have been there! I was a 'defend my doctrines at all cost' devout Jehovah's Witness for 33 years.I KNOW the anguish and the agony, yes the sudden impact surreal horror of having to renounce the life-long convictions of my heart.
To quote the WWII Japanese Emperor upon surrender to the Allies,"we must now endure the unendurable".

Take heart! There is life after the cult!

Ashamed that I had been such a gullible fool!

Embarrassed thinking of all the good people I had rejected as friends!

Angry with my foolish family, parents in particular, and those who continue to shun us!

Totally lost and devastated having never had a 'real' horizon to aim for.

After years of counselling I feel fantastic!

However, revenge is a dish best served up cold.

Somedays, I just feel like Clark Kent!
