lalliv01, in reference to your comment, although I don't believe in the bible god, I do have hope for my future. After researching Near Death Experiences (NDE's) and Children's past life memories, I embraced the belief that death is not the end, but an end to the particular experience we are living at the time, I am at peace and feel that eventually we will all find out what happens in the end anyway! So I try to live everyday the best I can, and enjoy this experience, and help others do the same. I don't pray to the Creator for stuff, I just feel gratitude and give thanks. I don't feel that we need to worship anyone, that idea came from mens minds.

i believe that maybe god created us but he is not present anymore.

if that's not the case, i believe there is a universal intelligence. an order and wisdom that has evolved over millions of years.

I hope god exists but that makes me wonder how he can let all this suffering happen.
it's a dilemma i have to live with.

Yes, I believe the entire universe, the earth and that all life upon the earth are the result of a Supreme Intelligence. Is YHWH, of the bible, that Supreme Designer? Perhaps so. There is compelling evidence, in my opinon, that the bible could be inspired of God. But I also believe it is possible that the Creator of all things transends every religion that has ever existed. And I also believe we will all find out what is what after this life ends in not before.
