I hear you I really do. Its like today I will be shunned at my nans funeral (only by my folks) for leaving the borg, my brother who may be there, who got his fiance pregnant before they got married and had an abortion, and then got married in the hall, will be treated better than I.

Sorry to hear this but what can you expect from hypocrites? Defectors and whistleblowers are always hated.
It was my observation that the ones who were disfellowshipped and reinstated felt they had 'something to prove' - even more so than the others there. They have to show to the world how 'theocratic' they are. So, they get 'points' by shunning you. Pathetic.
But, what really gets me is how they feel they can do anything and be forgiven. Many of them are just whitewashed graves deceiving themselves.

Just know, she will get hers one day. She can sit there all high and mighty now, but there will come a time...you wait and see. She may be acting a certain way, but inside she knows the truth of the matter and how it really is. She is probably bothered inside that you had the b@lls to get out and she doesn't...weak.

IT JUST PISSES ME OFF THAT IN SPITE OF HER VAST ARRAY OF SINFUL CONDUCT IN THE PAST, THAT SOMEHOW SHE FEELS JUSTIFIED IN SHUNNING ME. My sin? Leaving her cult - that's all.
In their eyes - that's the only sin that is unforgiveable if you don't go back. They would rather you be two faced or live a double life as a "weak" person rather than be out of the organization completely.
